santana
Analog pedals take the sound coming from your guitar and pass it through components like resistors, diodes and transistors to create the output sound. Digital effects take your guitar's output, converts it from an analog signal to digital information, and then uses digital filters to shape your sound. Once the sound has been processed, it's then converted back to analog and then sent out.
