They weren't a great band or legendary band . . . and their music did not influence ANYBODY during their careers.

But, they were a much stronger band and produced better music than 99% of the hair-band era bands.

They put out some pretty cool songs.

You have to remember, Lithium is viewed, by himself of course, as the foremost authority on rock music.

And by me. He may not be the "foremost authority", but he's getting a pretty good run at it. He's right though, they suck serious ass; they sound exactly the same as Poison and/or any other hair-metal band you can name really.

The same sound as L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, W.A.S.P.?

I was exaggerating a little bit, L.A. Guns are at least a half-credible band that make half-decent music. And WASP at least sound a tiny bit better than Poison or Great White, WASP are quite a bit more metal. 

But Great White just sound like a typical generic hair-metal band, exactly what you'd expect and nothing more.
