Pico Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 is a b-side from the This Is Hardcore period, dealing with how Jarvis Cocker was cornered by a new labour representative in New York (!) some time in '97 and asked to support the party, much like Damon Albarn of Blur had been fooled into doing two years earlier. For some reason, Jarvis got cold feet and the song was re-written as Glory Days which eventually ended up on the Hardcore album.If the background doesn't interest you, check out the link above anyway - it's a belter of a song.Do you want a line of this?
