This takes a second to load. Funny, as it's just one of about three different Nickelback dual-songs that sound exactly the same.

I was actually a nickelback for a year - from this song:

It's a shame what they turned into.

Godsmack "borrowing" from Nine Inch Nails. Is this legal to do?

Check this site out. It lists songs that songs that sound alike.

I was going to go through and pull out the bests, but I aint got that kind of free time.

The babe i'm gonna leave you compared to chicago's 26 to 6 to 4 is pretty amazing.

The MOST FUN one though, is probably comparing Rod Stewart and Buckcherry - you should def listen to it.

Don't forget about ZZ Top and AC/DC. All of ZZ's songs sound the same, same with AC/DC.

Bands always seem to borrow from one another, whether intentional or not. I just think it's natural that some of your influences will shine through in the music you create.

The nice thing is that AC/DC admits it!

Whereas a lot of bands would deny it. Like Nickelback.

I agree with your statement. But there is a difference between borrowing and being influenced, as to blatantly ripping off somebody else's sound.

There's a big difference between Ben E. King and Nickelback. Ben E. Kings songs are quite beautiful and make you feel good, Nickelback's songs make your ears bleed upon listening to them. Same goes for CCR, their songs are good enough to listen to. Nickelback's music is just agonizing.
