I just tried to use the computers DVD player, but it was trying to start it up with Windows Media Player, which couldn't play it. I was searching a little on google, but I didn't understand anything of what I should get to make it play my movies.

The question is anyhow; What free DVD-program do I need to watch DVD's on my computer?

As you might have noticed by now, I'm about as technical as a five years old kid, so please give me a link and tell me how to use this program too.

Thank you in advance!

VLC is about the best and handles most formats plus its free

VLC Media Player

All you need to do is right click on the media you want to play and select Open with VLC player, you could save time by selecting it to do it automatically for that media type

Right Click>

Open With?>

Choose Default Program>

Then browse for the VLC player and select it, check the box for using this action for all file types the same.

Oh it worked now. I was trying to use that before I made this topic. Only problem was apparently that I hadn't put on any title, so therefore it didn't work. :xmassrudolph:

Thank you very much GOAB!
