Nobodys_Fault Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 I booted up my laptop today to find the error message;"This copy of windows must be activated with microsoft before you can log in.Do you want to activate windows now?"Found this strange considering i'd activated it about months ago but I clicked yes anyway. And then nothing appears. The computer just hangs.So I rebooted in safe mode and was able to log in. I searched around the net for a fix and when looking through my registry i've discovered that my 'WPAEvents' folder has only string (Default) where there should be 3.
