However, my contract states that I'm not allowed to take off on the first or last day of the semester. Quote

You should at least try call and ask, to be 100% sure about it. It's too bad selling the ticketd, and then find out you could've gone.. Quote

And I was reminded it was the first day of a new semester. But it's alright. - the south American dates are during my spring break. I'll see if I can make a trip down there during my vacation!! Quote
