When I bought the tickets I planned on being able to take off on that Monday. However, my contract states that I'm not allowed to take off on the first or last day of the semester. You should at least try call and ask, to be 100% sure about it. It's too bad selling the ticketd, and then find out you could've gone.. And I was reminded it was the first day of a new semester. But it's alright. - the south American dates are during my spring break. I'll see if I can make a trip down there during my vacation!!
