inthisriver Posted January 7, 2010 Share Posted January 7, 2010 "Going for a hell ride"Pitchfork had a documentary on him up posted for a week or so back in December, it was definitely interesting. I don't know if calling him a "tragic figure" is appropriate, he managed to live a pretty fulfilling life despite his disabilities and all the obvious obstacles that come with it. I more impressed with his art than his music because he was so prolific that it all just seemed to blend. I will say some of his lyrics are amazing though, rip.
