Do you think he sort of gave up on turning the new band into something after Buckethead left? He's really the only guitarist he's had post Slash that was really special in his own right. The most current touring lineup does a pretty good job of covering all the songs, but I'm not waiting for an album written with Bumblefoot and DJ Ashba. I wish Axl had built the band around himself and Buckethead, and fired everyone who didn't like Buckethead.
