Vincent Vega Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 Marc,When forming "New" GN'R, why didn't Axl ask more well known musicians to join, instead of guys who were either obscure or barely known to the public? For example, why didn't he ask Zakk Wylde to join as lead guitarist AFTER Slash left; or ask someone like Brian May to join as a permanent replacement for Slash?
