The series focuses on a squad of youthful-looking undercover police officers investigating crimes in high schools, colleges, and other teenage venues.

21 Jump Street aired on the Fox Network and in first run syndication from April 1987, to April 1991, with a total of 103 episodes. The series provided a spark to Johnny Depp's nascent acting career, garnering him national recognition as a teen idol. Depp found this status irritating,but he continued on the series under his contract and was paid $45,000 per episode. Eventually he was released from his contract after the fourth season.

Yes yes yes. Haven't seen it in ages, but in those days never missed an episode, mainly cause of Depp.

I loved that show. It wasn't the same after Johnny left and the Booker character played by Richard Grieco wasn't as good as Johnny, but the show was good for it's time.

I do like the new 21 Jump Street movies. I thought the first one was so funny and they are working on a new movie now. Channing Tatum is very good as a comedy actor and he's also good with the physical comedy too.
