CoolRanchDressing
Considering what you've said about how much Axl resents the old guys and wants nothing to do with his amazing past, it seems kind of ironic that he still tours with the name GNR and pretty much has to play a set dominated by those old songs. Does he like playing them? Or is it something he has to sorta put up with? Do you think he'd be happier playing nothing but new songs? Even though I think it's weird that he wants to bury his past, if that's really how he feels, I could see it being quite depressing to have to go out every night and sing songs about his old bands drug addictions for the millionth time. recklessroad
I don't know anymore, I mean what choice does he have but to play them. I know in 2006 I think he played 9 or 10 from AFD. I do know that 20 to 28 years ago when he sang them, they would bring him back to what the lyrics were about. Many of those songs had a strong meaning to different things in his life.
