Guest RED Posted September 25, 2004 Share Posted September 25, 2004 I do like Joy Division,I put their album Unknown Pleasures in my top 10 ten debut albums list.Joy Division reflected real life, far more horrific than many other bands at that moment in time did.Ian Curtis was a wonderful writer both a poet and a song lyricist. He was the soul of that group.The album Closer granted was quite heavy but then again it was about going down a spiral into depression.After the sad, tragic demise of frontman Ian Curtis we had the arrival of New Order.I must admit I am not that much of a fan of New Order.
