Rumin
There are a lot of Queen songs that I really like, but for some reason, I haven't bought any of their albums yet. Which albums would you suggest starting out with? Do you think Queen I, or Greatest Hits I would be better?
stratomaster
Hmm my dad's got that greatest hits collection (3 disks) and it's a really good collection of Queen songs, though if you already like them i'd just start with the main albums, maybe Innuendo or Queen II. madison
If you really want to get a feel for Queen and why they were so different -- buy one of their regular albums -- not a Greatest Hits record. Each album had its own theme and concept -- almost like a story. And every song has a different sound. Really cool. I'd recommend "A Night At The Opera" first. Then "Sheer Heart Attack," and "A Day at the Races." I think those are their best albums.
-Sephiroth-
Just download all their albums, and if you find any of em great, buy em
Rumin
I just bought Greatest Hits I because it was really cheap, and I didn't bring much money to the store with me. I'll probably get Queen I next, and then Queen II.
