mr-fukaji Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 slash uses 6 strings, and the odd 12.7's are pointless unless you're in pantera or limp bizkit. even then it's still a bit pointless.12 is a lot more melodic, acoustic 12 stringer's are a lot better than electric.just get a 6 string, specially if you're just starting. Also, sometimes its not always the greatest idea to go with the guitar with the best sound(but ugly) in its price range.
