backslazh Posted April 24, 2005 Share Posted April 24, 2005 (edited) Obviously I am a GN'R/Slash fan. And I'm going to buy me a new guitar in the close future... So I wonder wich one of '87 LP Standard and 2001 LP Classic is the better for me since I want the slash-sound? I've read some places that Slash's favourite guitar is a '87 standard. And the standard is actually 120 dollar cheaper then the classic. But I expect that the 2001 mod is in better shape then a '87 mod... (I haven't tried them yet).
