santana Posted August 23, 2005 Share Posted August 23, 2005 PO is a pull-off. Example: 15 po 13... Play the 15th fret while also holding the 13th fret. After you hit the 1st note, pull your finger orr, but don't pick the string. The 13th fret will ring out./sl is a slide. 15 /sl 12 play the 15th fret, and then slide down to the 12th fret without picking the string again, and without lifting your finger off of the fretboard.
