Rock N' Roll Junkie
I think lyrics are very often about nothing, they're just like that because it sounds cool or the words rhyme. If not please explain why the following lyrics are written:- Harvester of sorrow- I mean, the lyrics are cool but what does he ACTUALLY want to say with it.- Ozzy: No more tears, what it's about seems to be changing during the song.- And (I'm going to hear it for this one) GN'R Coma. I mean, I understand the essence of the beginning perfectly. But than the last part is actually about nothing at all.the same goes for the garden of eden, explain this:You got a glass jawed toothacheOf a mental diseaseAn they be runnin' round backSee 'em line up on their knees'Cause the kiss ass sycophantsThrowin' penance at your feet
Genesis
Metal lyrics are often notoriously cliched, and sometimes get to the extent of being laughable.Yet if you look hard enough, you can find some intellectual or witty lyrics penned by a lyrical genius. Glass jawed tooth - like gold tooththe song is basically like how power is corrupting and stuff. But for all I could tell from the speed of the song it could be 'I like my crispy pancakes with onions and cheese an I like to open them up and fill them with peas'
