Bob Dlyan's Early Days

These are Dylan's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th albums. For those of you who have been able to listen to them all, which would you say is the best?

I have to go with Freewheelin', myself. I enjoy Another Side the most, but it's really an updated version of Freewheelin', which was a breakthrough album.

As for The Times..., I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. Dylan's humor vanishes, and we are left with nothing but protest songs. The songs are good, but the cynical and humorous side of Dylan obviously makes them lack without that side of him present.

It seems not many Bob Dylan fans out here.... Bob Dylan rules and his lyrics I think are the best out of all.... That is my opinion but his lyrics really are great.

There are, but I guess not a ton around this forum. Which is strange, because you'd think with so many people loving older music, they'd be able to discover Dylan.

I'm going for The Times..

Why, becuase i think that album is much more powerful than the others, the lyrics are better, and overall summed up what alot of the public at the time was thinking.

It was an album of rebellion.

I've only listened to Another Side, a long time ago. I won't vote though, it would be unfair to the other two. I'm getting some Dylan albums this weekend.

'tween freewheelin' and times for me

i know i said the times in an older post

but now i look over the list of songs...i think freewheelin' comes mighty close

but still...the times win because of "boots of spanish leather"

i love that melody
