stratomaster
System restore, would this result in me restarting the computer and re-loading all the software back on? there's no way i'm doing that again.I've got rid of it for the most part, considering how much there was, however when I open the IE browser I get this:http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/1618/untitled0qy.jpgThe information is false, for a kick off I don't live in the United States and secondly that is not my IP address. Update Ad-Aware, Spybot, AVG Anti Virus2. Turn off system restore!3. Boot into Safe-mode! 4. Start Ad-Aware then Spybot then AVG5. Reboot and scan againIf there's still something do the procedure again or post the log files of Ad-Aware, Spybot, AVG Anti Virus

I'd have to run it again to check.http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/1843/untitled3iu.jpg Edited February 17, 2006 by stratomaster
