Wow, I had nearly forgotten about them, but I was going through some of my music today and came across loads of their stuff that I haven't listened to in ages (rectifying that now by going through the entirety of "London Calling" on full blast B) ). And then I (obviously) decided to make a thread and see who else likes them and what your favourite songs/albums are. So, discuss etc.

I like'em.. I've got only the single collection though but based on that, they're great.

I absolutely 100% fantasdoobly adore the Clash. They're my favourite band along with the Smiths and the Stooges. The later stuff isn't so hot though in places. Give Em Enough Rope is probably my favourite at the moment.

Good band, unfortunately found themselves in the Punk era. I have their first three albums, I've only listened to London Calling extensively, and it's up there with just about anything. I have thought about getting Sandinista, just because I think it might be similar to London Calling in the ways the others aren't. I just think they would have been much better, much more prolific, if they had come a few years earlier, or later.
