Just an fyi for this Spencer's promotion. A couple days ago I saw a big sign for this, in front of the Spencer's in my local mall. I'm assuming it's going to be autographed by Axl, but I'm not positive on that.

Eligibility: The "Guns N' Roses Autographed Guitar Giveaway" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents, 13 years of age or older at the time of entry, of the United States (including the District of Columbia and Hawaii), Puerto Rico and Canada (excluding Quebec) except employees, officers, directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of Spencer Gifts LLC (hereafter "Sponsor"), Bravado International Group ("Bravado"), their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, distributors, record labels, retailers and advertising, promotion, licensing and public relations agencies (collectively, "Sweepstakes Parties"). Void in The U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. military installations in foreign countries & all other U.S. territories and possessions and where otherwise restricted or prohibited by law.

Three (3) Ways to Enter: Between Monday, September 11, 2006 at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and September 30, 2006 at 11:59:59PM ET, 1) go to any Spencer Gifts retail store, purchase merchandise and provide your email address at the register; 2) go online to www.SpencersOnline.com, make a purchase and provide your email address, OR 3) go online to www.SpencersOnline.com and follow the instructions to submit an online entry, including entering all required information. All entries must be received by September 30, 2006 at 11:59PM EST at which time this sweepstakes ends. ANY MAIL-IN ENTRIES SUBMITTED WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED, WILL BE VOID AND AUTOMATICALLY DESTROYED WITHOUT OPENING. Only one entry per person, per day will be accepted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Incomplete, illegile, false or deceptive entries are void. All entries become property of Sweepstakes Parties and will not be acknowledged. Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, computer or software malfunctions or telephone transmission problems or technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether caused by computer viruses, worms or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, equipment, programming used in this Sweepstakes, mechanical, electronic or human error or otherwise. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. Drawing: Winner will be selected in a random drawing occurring on or around October 16, 2006 from all eligible entries received within the time limits specified in these Official Rules and winners will be notified by email only. Failure by a potential winner to respond to such notification within fifteen (15) business days from the date of the sweepstakes drawing will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Sweepstakes Parties reserve the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of the alternate winner(s), if any. Acceptance of any prize constitutes the prize winner's permission for Sweepstakes Parties to use such person's name, picture, likeness and address for promotional or advertising purposes in connection with this Sweepstakes without further compensation or permission except where prohibited by law. All entries are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes. Eligibility, age, and claims made by prize winners also are subject to verification prior to awarding of prizes.

One (1) Grand Prize: One guitar signed by Axl Rose of the band Guns N' Roses to be awarded as the grand prize following the promotion period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Approximate Retail Value of each Prize: $2,500 USD/$2,796 CAN. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes related to acceptance of any prizes.

Miscellaneous: No transfer, cash redemption, or substitution of prize (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor due to unavailability of prize & then for a prize of equal or greater value. Winner will be required to execute & return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity release, within fifteen (15) business days of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with the above will result in disqualification & an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification or a prize is returned as non-deliverable for any reason, prize will be forfeited & an alternate winner may be selected. Winner agrees, except where prohibited, that Sweepstakes Parties & their respective designees may use winner's name, biographical and prize information, entry materials, in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world, in any manner whatsoever, to advertise and promote Sweepstakes Parties, their respective products and services, the Sweepstakes, and for any other purpose except where prohibited by law, without notice to entrants and without obligation or compensation. Sweepstakes Parties will not replace any lost or stolen prize items once in the winner's possession. If prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sweepstakes Parties, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded. Sweepstakes Parties shall not be liable to winner or any person claiming through winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, threatened terrorist acts, air raid, blackout, act of public enemy, earthquake, war (declared or undeclared), fire, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sweepstakes Parties' sole control (collectively, "Force Majeure Event"). Canadian entrant, if selected as the winner, must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited math question by telephone in order to be declared the winner.

By entering, entrant agrees that Sweepstakes Parties, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, retailers, distributors, advertising & promotion agencies, & prize suppliers & all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives & agents shall have no liability for, & shall be held harmless for & against any damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from: (i) the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in this Sweepstakes; or (ii) printing, distribution or production errors. Sweepstakes Parties or their affiliates may rescind any promotion found to contain such errors without liability at their sole discretion. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the nature of any prize awarded. Sweepstakes Parties reserve the right, in their sole discretion to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of Sponsor, including but not limited to a Force Majeure Event (as defined herein), impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes &, in the event of cancellation, termination or suspension, select, at Sweepstakes Parties' discretion, winners from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such cancellation, termination or suspension. Sweepstakes Parties reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual that (i) tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operations of this Sweepstakes in any manner, (ii) violates the Official Rules, or (iii) acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Jury Trial Waiver: Except as prohibited by law and as a condition of participating in this sweepstakes, entrant hereby waives any right it may have to a trial by jury in respect of any litigation directly or indirectly arising out of, under or in connection with this sweepstaakes, any document or agreement entered into in connection herewith and any of the transactions contemplated hereby or thereby.

Concert goers weren't let down as Axl Rose and band mates Tommy Stinson (base), Richard Fortus (guitar), Robin Finck (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboard), Dizzy Reed (keyboard, Brain (drums) and new guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal burned through Guns N' Roses classics such as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Paradise City," "My Michelle," "Mr. Brownstone," "November Rain" and "Sweet Child O' Mine." The final show at Hammerstein found the band joined by one time Guns' guitarist Izzy Stradlin on "Think About You," "Patience" and "Night Train," which also included an enthusiastic Kid Rock coming onstage to join the band!
