tainted_conscience Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 yeah, the concert was amazing. ive only been too five or six in my entire, but this was by far the most amazing, incredible, fantastic [and latest...] that ive been too.i get to vegas at 2:30 and to the hotel at 3:00, so i start doing my school homework while my mom and dad are down at the casinos. when its 5:00, I, my dad and my little brother head toward the hard rock cafe, but we didnt know were it was so we got lost. we get there at 6:30 and they kick us out from the casino because me and my little brother are minors, but instead they take us to a seperate, really short line outside that was for people with minors and it turned out we went in first, so you could imagine how close we were during the whole show.well, anyway, the opening band goes on, while the people around me are smoking pot, and i really didnt know who the fuck they were, but i actually kinda liked them, but i was surprised when i heard them play that shitty "california" song. i was like , they are the ones that play that gay song ??? but i liked themits around 10:30 and im getting pissed off along with everyone around me, but at 11 when the lights went down, everyone went crazy. before welcome to the jungle went on, i saw axl on the side of the stage talking with someone else. i was awstruck. it was amazing to see axl literally in fornt of my face.unfortunetely, four songs into the setlist, i was pushed out of the front by some fat crazy insane drunk chick and her scary looking boyfriend who cussed me out for not moving earlier, seeing that she had been pinching my back kicking my legs and elbowing me for me to move.well, around band intros, i got to the front again, but at center stage. the dude who had taken the pot to the place starting bumping into people and got thrown out, pulled by security in front of me. Axl saw and him went over to us and asked us what was going on. .:! i was like , so the fat dude next to me answered all in all, it was the best show ever. it was my first time at a rock show in the front, and it was quiete the experience. i thought i wasnt gonna make it out alive, seeing as im only 5'5 and skinny, but i held my own, i guess. plus, the people i talked to before the show were fucking cool.i dont think ill be closer to axl in the near future though:( unless i see him at the inland invasion on saturday in person, which is a total fantasy.
