Would anyone deny that 2K6 Axl is a huge impvement over 2k2 Axl? Fans were critical of the setlist, and Axl finally effort to change it. We bitched about the lack of the website, and they at least kinda tried to make one. We bitched about the lack of communication, and we get an open letter from Axl Rose. Fans have been saying for a long time now that Merck is a dirty, thieving gypsy bandit who's out to make a few bucks off Axl's reputation and catalog of great songs. I've gotten warnings from the mods for saying shit like that in the forums.But you know what? Just like the other issues, the fans were right about Merck. We're not some slick talking manager who swoops in to grab what he can for a few years. We're not like the sniveling yes-men who get paychecks as long as they keep kissing Axl's ass. We're fans because we care about Axl and his artistic ability. We've been in it for the long haul with Axl. When Merck and all the greedy yes-men like him come and go, the FANS will still be there for Axl.Hopefully, we're entering a new era where Axl and his fans don't have to be at odds. We're fans because through all the bullshit, we still believe that Axl has something very special left to give to the world. We want to see him succeed.
