Not sure how much that one is, but for £299 you can get a very good Les Paul, replace the pickups, then you have something which is in the Gibson league. The £799 Tokai's are Japanese, and are sometimes better than Gibsons.Overall though, remember, a good amp is better than a good guitar. A shit guitar can sound pretty good through a fantastic amp.
