Dead Flower
Exploring all their stuff more deeply is on my to-do list, but I never seem to get around to it. Too much good music out there.I have 'Disintegration' and 'Standing on a Beach' (their GH) and it's good stuff.

bluesy
I like the songs that I have heard..Which album or albums would be a good start beside their GH?'Disentegration' is widely regarded as their best work. There are essentially two sides to The Cure. The upbeat poppy side and the dark depressing side. It's really amazing how they can pull off the contrasting styles so seemlessly. Pornography, Disentegration, and Bloodflowers is said to be a trilogy of albums dealing with similar dark themes. There is actually a DVD where all the songs off those albums are played live at a gig. Head on the Door is their pop masterwork. Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me is like their White Album, or the Illusions. Just a large body of diverse material that takes you everywhere. Wish represents the two sides of The Cure. It was originally supposed to be another double-album. There are a few other albums, but those are the main ones that you should focus on as a beginner. They also have a song on The Crow Soundtrack that kicks ASS.
