Dub Reggae

i went through a phase a coupla years back where it was ALL i listened to. its REALLY a cool and origninal genre insofar as the format was unprescedented in the 60s when it came out, bass led, reverb and echo heavy music with those little toasts they had. King Tubby, Lee 'Scratch' Perry these guys are so influential, i mean with DUb im not sure that we'd have had techno, house and a lotta dance music. i mean, before this the only dance music was rock n roll, Dub REALLY changed the face of music in a way that was very understated and its contribution became obvious from the late 80s onwards. Reggae in general was a format buster i think. anyfans?
