Old GNR bio book

Recommended Posts

I used to have this book about GNR. I think I got it in 1994 or 93. Can't remember the title, and google doesn't help - it only shows results for Reckless Road or Watch You Bleed.

The book I want to find again had this ambitious intro about Jung's fourth drive theory. And I think it mentioned the Illusions already, so it should be from 91 to 93.

Anyone know that one?

Yes, 'twas! Thank you. "Appetite for Destruction: The Days of Guns N' Roses". Now I remember Danny kept comparing Axl to Jim Morrison. Thanks, man.

You're welcome? I thought the book was a bit boring from what I remember, he also wrote a Jim Morrison book before the Guns one.

I was 12, so it was fascinating then...

It is interesting how I couldn't google it out. "Guns Roses book" only gives results for Watch You Bleed and Reckless. On GNR wiki page only these 2 are mentioned.

Once you gave me the author, I found it on eBay, but if someone didn't know it existed, it'd be hard to come across.

I'll get back to you on that,it's been a long time since I saw them

There was one called 'in their own words' and of course the Mick Wall one.

Oh and the Robert John one which has the documentary on YouTube . That's a good photo one and the doc is really good, with interviews from that time.
