W. Axl Kev
I seriously don't have a clue. Both Geffen and Sanctuary are something to do with Guns N' Roses but I haven't a clue what...Any help?
rainX
Geffen is their record labelSanctuary is their Publisher, they own the publishing rights to past and present Guns N' Roses tracks. Both obviously stand to make a ton of money off a successful album, Geffen the most, but Sanctuary would also make a huge chunk. Just_me
Considering CD has cost Geffen $13 million so far I don't know how much they will actually make from it.It'll be a long while before they see any actual profit from it, even if it is a huge sucsess. Patience 4 Axl
Sanctuary is GnR's management. Basically, this means they are responsible for the handling of many aspects of the artists careers, speak on their client's behalf, handle their touring and travel needs etc. Sanctuary is involved in many different areas of the music industry including music licensing, publishing, as well as being a record label. However, they are not GnR's label. Seems this is why people sometimes get confused.
