  1. Doesn't matter to me... I'm not getting this album any other way than from the record store... :)

What if your girlfriend/mother/secret admirer get it ... but from amazon? ooooooo

I doubt any of them would know how to order from amazon.... :P

  2. Ive got them....

Mucky Fingers is the best thing oasis have ever done.

I'll take your word for it because The Times weren't too impressed.... :(

Not that I care what they say or anything but......

Britpop bores are all mouth and no trousers

THIS sixth album had a nightmare gestation, beginning as a collaboration with

dance producers Death in Vegas, being binned three times, taking in a terrible

headlining Glastonbury slot and coming out 18 months behind schedule.

As ever, there were rumours of a rift between the grouchy Gallaghers, but both

contribute tracks to the album, as do Gem and Andy Bell. The result doesn’t look

promising. The band’s increasingly desperate leader has compared the new songs

to everyone from Elvis, The Who and Bob Dylan to Soundtrack of Our Lives on

    Skol. What, no Beatles?

Despite Noel’s bluster, the first single, Lyla, has already been given a rough ride

by fans. It gets an average rating of 2.5 out of 10 on XFM’s Oasis message board,

where one fan suggests the chorus sounds a lot like Mona by Craig MacLachlan.

Note to Noel: throwing in a swirling siren sound isn’t enough to make a song

exciting. Still, there are signs that a back-to-basics approach to writing lyrics might

find favour with old fans. Part of the Queue, featuring the Cuban percussionist

Lenny Castro, is apparently about waiting to buy a pint of milk, while the Liam-

penned Love Like a Bomb, inspired by Julie Christie and described as a wistful

follow-on from Songbird, should be worth a listen.

Andy Bell’s title track borrows its intro from Midnight Cowboy, although his other

contribution, Keep the Dream Alive, inspired by David Essex in Stardust sounds

like one to give short shrift.

They say “Our best record since Definitely Maybe. We stuck it out; we stuck to our

guns and we pulled it off.”

We say Don’t believe the hype.

Verdict Don’t buy. Save your money for the DVD of this summer’s eagerly awaited

    live shows.

  3. There's a lot of under rated bands but the first artist that comes to mind is Kid Rock. Many people diss him without even listening to the music. On stage he kicks ass, always gives 100%.

Check out the VMA'99 performance with RUN DMC and Aerosmith, now that's entertainment! B)

  4. I honestly don't understand what's so great about Mötley Crüe. Every second

thread is about them so obviously people must like them. It's unfair to compare

them to Gnr, but in my opinion not one single song comes close to anything

released from AFD&UYI. That's why I'm always surprised to see them as

    "My second favourite band".

I won't deny I enjoy a song or two, but it's more something to get wasted to.

Their "Greatest Hits" albums are very very mediocre.

I guess I don't need to say I vote Kiss in this poll....

  5. the cranberries-zombie, of you hevent heard this song, then i advise you to get it, it is a good example of irish rock...

I don't know, I think Zombie got a lot of playing and recognition.. Linger imo is much more underrated and a better song..

  6. Green Day rock, dookie is their best work.

can some one tell me how many gree day albums there are, i have dookie, american idiot, ninrod, 1,039/smoothed out slappy hours and warning and international superhits.

I know there is an album called Insomniac, but a friend said an album came out called Shananigans or something like that, could someone tell me if this is true...
