I live in Dubai and it is not much of a desert now :) The venue though was out of the city probably to accommodate the huge crowd. Even though I spent 2 and half hours on the road, the show was really worth all the hassles and chaos. I also wish I had bumped into Axl :)

I know Dubai is adding a lot of buildings via construction, but unless one of the projects is changing the climate, it is still a desert with a bunch of buildings.

axl had a AAAAA+ voice in GNR up to 1991

then he sang like he sang on the izzyless tour (my favorite word to describe 1992-1993 is "on autopilot")

Id say his voice was AAA- during the circus era (tracy, roberta, zig zag etc)

then uncle axl decided to go solo

and once again he sang like he sang (insert your favorite word here ________) on his solo album and on his solo tours (2001-2014)

id say his voice went from acceptable (A-) to really unlistenable (E-) on those solo years

i was convinced axl would never sing good again.

up to three months ago i would bet big money (if i had any) that his voice was gone for good

    then the unthinkable happens

there is this threeunion thing and axl seems to have gotten his voice back to a decent level

its like he went from E- to AA+

then the most unbelievable thing happens

axl fucking joins ac fucking dc and starts to sing in a way that really reminds his good days

to me it sounds somewhat like 1993

its like he went to AAA+ level again

    now what will come next?

get rid of the 4 hired hands, get izzy and steven onboard and axl voice will be AAAAA+ again?

    in other words...

Is Axl saving his voice on the Threeunion tour so he can have it on great shape for the 5 guys Reunion?

    I find this creepy af.

Superbowl is not a big thing outside u.s.a ( meybe mexico and canada ) but for the 85 % of the world ( maybe more) is a random game/event that noone cares about.. But...  A lot of people outside the states just cares about halftime show, some ht shows were very famous worldwide ( the one with m.jackson, the one with bep with slash, the one with prince, janet jacksons boob,  etc etc . ..)  So is a nice way to be seen worldwide. And i think an acdc with Guns n Roses show is an excelent idea. Half of back in black, half of jungle, and at the end both bands play the paradise city outro with a fine fireworks paraphernalia.. I mean, it cant be a half time show better than that

Im 200% . On board with this

Bullshit, it's one of the most watched events every year worldwide.

You're probably a soccer fan. We let our children play soccer but when they pass puberty, we let them play real sports.

I am loving every minute of this tour so far. I don't mind at all that izzy and Steven are not involved. The setlist is awesome.

The only that irritates me a bit is Richard.

I think his stage presence / moves are really overbearing and a bit cheesy... The big powerful guitar strikes and holding his guitar high above his head. Spinning in circles.. it looks a bit lame and unGuns n Roses to me. He also seems to showboat quite a bit when Slash is soloing.

I don't think that him and Slash have great chemistry together.

I think Slash plays better with a more chilled out rhythm player beside him.

    What do yous think?

Ah, don't be sore. The experience was better. Whenever I see videos from so far away, that you need screens to see something, I wonder what's the point?

I was on the floor just behind the cesspool of GA. I had my own space and could get beer anytime I wanted. Plus I had to piss once, was so easy to run to the bathroom with no headaches.  Being in GA would have ruined the entire experience.

    THIS!
I'm from Montreal. We have the Bell Centre, the Olympic Stadium, the Saputo Stadium...they could have easily pulled out a date for Montreal. They lump Canada all together but Toronto is 6 hours away for me. Have fun in Toronto though! I can only dream of some last minute Montreal miracle lol.

    Quit your Canadian bitching.

Yes. It was. On the first show, I came in about an hour before GNR hit the stage and was in the 5th row. On the second show I stood in line for about 1 and a half hours and was in the third, then in the second row. Both times right in front of Axl, between Axl and Slash.

2 and a half hours in line for no better experience. Maybe you could smell Axl's taint because you were so close, but that's not my idea of a good time.

My experience was awesome....I came and went as I pleased, ran back to the restroom twice and got a water once..moved around for several different viewpoints.  Got right up next to stage left at one point before I realized I was in a walkway and security told me to move.

some tall dude got in front of me...I moved, wasn't stuck behind him.  Was also closer than you.

Glad you enjoyed yours...I loved my experience.  Going to probably do it again in Chicago.

I don't need to be close enough to see Axl's camel toe to enjoy the show. Sound is usually better a little farther back too.

Don't have to wait in line for GA either, several of us entered like 30 minutes before GnR hit the stage Saturday night in GA, one of us was no more than 6-7 rows back on the right.  I was probably 8ish rows back before I ran to the restroom and came back about 12 rows deep when the lights were down.

Most people do, and it is not nearly as easy to get drinks, leave, go the the restroom. I highly doubt your experience was so much better than mine that it would ever make me want to step foot into the cesspool of GA.
