I saw Duff with Nurotic Outsiders and he DOES look 60. I talked to him out back of the club... he was cool, but he looked kinda bad.. Slash was at that show as well, he wouldn't come out back with Duff... Then duff took a van back to the hotel... I mean a van?  what happend to limos and being a rock star lol  

if AXL called this band Poo they would still be doing just as well.  Name has nothing to do with it.

The point is this... Slash has made 1000's of 'guest apperances' and he doesn't care what they are... You could ask him to play at a KKK convention and he would. There is such a thing as being desperate.  Funny how GnR lies gets defensive about Slash but he can bash axl all he wants and the new guys... Can you say hypocracy?  Guest appreances are one thing, selling your ass to every person who comes along is another.

rockerman, most of the posts on this forum are opposite views of yourself, and gnrlies.  So, i suppose you two are right and the rest of us are wrong.  I have been a fan since I was 11.  I am now 27.  I have kept up plenty on the history of the band.  I have grown up a bit now, and don't worship them like I did in high school.. but my knowledge of the history of the band is indeed surpassed your bit of wisdom you think you have of the band.  And you will poke my eyes out? I should poke your eardrum our cause you don't deserve to hear such great music.   ;D

Actually I belive Adler was paid off when he was kicked out... If I remember correctly it was a lump sum of around a million bucks... Not much for a drug addict like him.  I belive reading SEVERAL articles about how he has been struggling in life. Not sure where you get this 'he is well off' crap.  so you need to get your facts straight bucko...  And Dizzy was friends with them and played with them before AFD.  Also, you say these guys stepped into a job without paying dues? And they didn't have to carry equipment around? uhhh, you are on crack... these guys weren't born guns n roses members, they paid their dues like everyone else in the music world by starting in small clubs, in small bands... moving up through the music world... Most of them all come for well known other bands... You call yourself a fan, but you have all the wrong info so I am not sure what you are a fan of... But it sure as heck is NOT gnr.  

LOL, ummm no.  There were some things in the song that were not 'politically correct' but Axl has explained many times what the 'exact' meaning of the song is.

LOL, ok.. well... Before they were signed to Geffen.. Slash had a formula on how people would get paid for their contributions... it was broken down by, melody, lyrics, and a few other things... After the formula Axl was paid 41%.  So, that proves right there Axl was the driving force behind the music... That was also how he won the court case... So, all due respect... he should play the GnR songs.. not The Project with some lame singer.
