Head of Interscope wont give a fuck what the album sounds like. He will trust the people that work for him. Heads of labels are generally business men, out of touch with the music world for the past 10 years.

Do you have any idea about Jimmy Iovine? I'd do a quick google or wiki on him before you declare that he is "out of touch with the music world". He's basically personally responsible for half the rap we hear today and has even tried his hand at producing for some of his artists. Doesn't sound like someone who "doesn't give a fuck to me".

I wouldn't mind hearing Axl sing Hammer to Fall. The Queen way, not the Queen + Paul Rodgers way with the verses being slow.

Unfortunately, as much as I've heard Bowie and as much as I am a fan, I've only heard all of Heathen and Reality. So I must say the two disc Best Of Bowie collection.

Axl doing a Freddie Mercury cover album would be terrible. A Queen cover album could possibly be decent. Have any of you actually heard Freddie Mercury's solo material? As much as I like it, I wouldn't want Axl to sing that music.

I got Prostitute and Oklahoma from SoulSeek...Prostitute is just instrumental and Oklahoma doesn't really sound like Axl.
