  1. This is so fucking unbelievable, they are really back (or maybe back is the wrong word, axl is back, but for the others it´s just the beginning of an new era :) )

and jenna you can count yourself now as one of the happiest persons in the world, enjoy it, this moment sure was unique, but i hope we all will see material of this, a video would be so awesome

and @ the brain thing: i wouldn´t worry about that, they don´t need a drummer for an acoustic set, and so maybe he just didn´t had the time or the right mood for the party and as he wasn´r necessary he stayed at home or elsewhere

  2. the leather jacket is a big improvement from that stupid jersey he used to wear, but im still not a fan of the braids. at least he isnt a fatass anymore.

i think your name says what many people will think of you now

    @ topic great pics

i´m so excited to hearing them in june

  3. sorry to burst your bubble but its most probably the ANTI-FLAG star - their new album, which is everywhere has that logo.

Rosie's hosting the show the View, and Axl's gonna be a guest

if u have something to share POST IT :book:

    Or i will.. jk.

Sorry but are you talking about the demo CD? or just fucking around

  4. And I hope that Izzy's back for the whole tour or atleast for this show :)

Me too, but I'm afraid it will get to the point where people will start booing once Izzy leaves the stage and when the band moves on. If Izzy's gonna perform, he's not going to be there for the whole set. Trust me.

Or he comes on for the last 2/3 songs - 14 years/Night train/Paradise city :)

Anyone think he was there at rehersals when Axl called the Eddie Trunk show??

    LP

    Would be ace.

That´d would also be a reason for axl not wanting us to hear his voice, cause I´m sure some people here would recognise izzy´s voice, even on a shitty quallity cell phone

  5. Catcher in the Rye is obviously a big gun, and the final studio version of TWAT could be epic (though Buckmaster did say it was not 'memorable'). Beyond that, I think the other leaks are more along the lines of It's So Easy types - essential to the album but not what it's going to be remembered for.

Buckmaster seemed to imply that Prostitute was the best of the tracks he worked on (TWAT, Blues, and Madagascar being the others), so that is almost certainly a big gun and possibly the big hit of the album.

Based on Beltrami's track record and the enthusiasm he's demonstrated in interviews, I'd imagine at least one of his songs is a big gun (Se7en, General, and Leave Me Alone).

This I Love is another strong candidate if it is still going to be included on the album after all these years.

So there's 2-5 tracks that are likely as good or better than the best of what we've already heard, based on what's been said by people actually involved with the production of the album.

There's definitely more to look forward to.

How come you know so much?? :o

I think better would have no problem to hit the charts, but i have no doubt that there will be other songs on CD that´ll be as great, or even better

  6. So the people up there were right

It´s just the one-day tickets that are sold out, 3-day tickests are still available

If you really just want to go to one day, than i suggest you to wait, last year the one day tickets too were sold out. I was just interested in the second day, so i thought i couldn´t go. But not too long before the festival, when they see that they still got enough complete ticketsleft, they began selling one-day tickets again.

Maybe it´ll be the same this year

Off topic: Anybody knows when or if the Chilli Peppers are going to tour Austria this year?

  7. The question is: does anybody believe GNR can fill this vacuum again in 2006?

Do you seriously think that Axl's new band has something to do with GNR ?

    I do rock3

  8. SO this is The concert for bangladesh

    george harrison: vocals, guitar

    Eric Clapton: guitars

    bob dylan: vocals,guitars, harmonica

    billy preston: vocals keyborads

    leon russel: vocals, keyboards

    ringo starr: drums, vocals, tambourine

plus The band: three people on acoustic guitars

    one on rhytm guitar

    one lead guitar

    two on bass guitar

    one for percussion

    one for drums

imagine all this people on stage plus 6 people on horns and 6 backing vocalists

and nearly all people played on all tracks (except dylan), just the person who did vocals changed (they were not singing all together :rofl-lol: )

  9. true, and thinking bout it, slash could walk straight on and take an empty seat while duff would have to wait for the next train to pass by since his all the seats were taken..... so unless stinson leaves or is kicked duff aint comming back, unlessssss........ there is 2 bass guitarist

why would they have 2 bass guitarists

why would they have three guitarists

anybody has seen concert for bangladesh from George Harrisson

that was a lot, even two drummers :monkey:

  10. way too much to read

    what´s that for a fucking opinion, you´re on a message board !!!!!!!!!!

everytime i hear this sentence drives me nuts

    @ topic

I think you´re right, as much as i love the old members, there is a new band now, who have (hopefully) recorded a new album, maybe Guns will reunite in the future, but not now.

Now it´s time for Chines Democracy and for the new band

  11. Basicly Finck plays everything better than the media manipulator with the stupid hat.

    End of topic.

    works for me rock3

    but now you´re beeing pathetic

I personally really like finck. When i first saw RIR3 i alway hoped for finck to play the solo, when i knew a solo would come. It´s not that Buckethead couldn´t play, but i just found that he had no style, so i prefered Finck, who looked like he was "feeling" the song.

  12. I hope they don't do It's So Easy anymore cos it obviously isn't anymore. And have they been dancin' with mister Brownstone lately? Probably!!!

It seems that most of the UYI songs are doomed. But who knows ? Perhaps Axl will surprise us this summer with songs like Civil War, Pretty Tied Up, Yesterdays or Bad Obsession.

    that would be a suprise

and what a nice one, i think he really shouldlet go most of the afd stuff, because they are just the "old-band´s songs". He could play some of the illusions though, cause there some seem to be more his than any other.

  13. i don't think they'll ever play"don't cry" "november rain" or "estranged".and it is so terrible for me.these are my favourite songs.i do hope axl's voice sounds the same.i have not heard him singing for a long time

You may be right with don´t cry and estranged, but there are good chances that they´ll play november rain

they did play it the last time so..

  14. I´m gonna be there there too, will buy my ticket next week or so ( they won´t be sold out anyway, novarock´s never sold out completely)

seems like sixtus and i are the only ones here that come from austria :drevil:

  15. Am I the only one who thinks that Don't Cry Live is better without Hoon? Don't get me wrong the video and studio album were great, but Don't Cry sounds a lot better when it is just Axl singing it.

    me too

but the best version ever has to be prague 92 for me, the alternative live version

    sending shivers

  16. Me i say the opposite after hearing those leaked tracks, i´m more confident than ever that this album will kick ass.

And i agree that album should have some more songs like "better". Because on the ballad side i think we got enough ones with "the blues" "twat" and "CITR". Now we need some fast songs to balance the album.

But anyway, release it fuckers, it´ll be great
