  1. It's no secret that it's always the same ones causing problems and being involved in this stuff in every single country they are in. Moroccans and/or Algerians are problematic people, whether they are born and raised in Europe or not,  they are the ones who always create problems. There are terrorists from other nationalities too but most of them share those two nationalities.

  2. GREY.

My sister bought a cheap version of that book but she didn´t realize it was the version in English so she gave it to me. Whether I like the story or not it´s pretty cool to read it in its original language because a lot of hints and little details are always lost with the translation to another language.

  3. I think Axl appreciates his fans. He is not stupid and he knows that the fans are part of his success but maybe he just doesn´t like it when some of them are demanding or annoying. I don´t know, it´s just mere speculation on my behalf. I remember the old days when GNR were on top of the world and it´s not like he was updating every single step to the fans. He talked more to the press but was pretty inaccessible to the fans. Now, his talking and public appearances are very few but he is more accessible to the fans than he has ever been. Whether he is touring or not. Hell, I even remember a video someone posted here long ago in a hotel lobby where Axl is seen chatting, taking pics and all that with the fans while Beta was saying they were in a hurry ( or something like that) and he insisted he wanted to do the fans stuff.

Maybe the way he handles the GNR stuff is not what people would like but that doesn´t mean he doesn´t appreciate his fans.

  4. Jessie who?

Maybe Axl´s manners are not the best. Maybe his words about this band were unfortunate, rude, bad taste...whatever. But there is an undeniable fact: AXL ROSE owns a place in rock history and whether people like the current status of GNR or not, he is a legend alive. On the other hand, this Jessie dude is a nobody for a lot of people and it is very sad that he needs to act as a parasite using Axl´s name to get some attention.

  5. It's a big humanitarian crisis that doesn't look like it will be ending anytime soon. Your thoughts?

Countries like Spain, Greece and Italy have been dealing with immigration for years on their own and no one gave a fuck. They asked for help many times and the European "Union" turned their cheeks to the other side. There are places like the Lampedusa island in Italy that have no capacity for the amount of people they help. They deal with tragedy almost daily and the poor child you saw in the news is not neither the first nor the last to die in the waters. Thousands of lives have been lost in the Mediterranean. Lives that were trying to reach a future in Europe far from the wars, poverty, hunger, islamist terrorism ... and nobody gave a shit. Nobody.

BUT now the European "Union" asks the European countries to help...why? Because the syrian refugees want to go to Germany and Germany doesn´t want to deal with this so they use the solidarity and the charity as an excuse because they don´t want them there and are forcing other countries to share the refugees, as if they were things and not persons. That is the cruel reality.

And once more, while the politicians were busy with their usual and useless bla bla bla searching for "solutions", the european citizens organized quickly and acted more efficiently than them. People were helping refugees on their own whereas the shitty political class were doing nothing but their usual charlatan speech to save face.

  6. I hope the Greek people have the balls to say NO. That would be a big fuck you to the banks, to Ángela Merkel, to the Internacional Monetary Fund, to the European "Union" and their fucking Troika hienas, to austerity measures and to the traditional political parties that are rotten and corrupt.

Even if they vote YES things are not going to be better. The Greek people will still be blackmailed and threatened with cruel austerity measures. They will be forced to pay the debt caused by the same corrupt and rotten people who now try to appear as if they had the solutions and the key to go the right way.

They do know that Greece will not be able to pay the debt but neither Europe nor the rest of the gang give a shit about people. They only think of the money and want to force Greece to pay at all cost, even if it means the ruin of the country.

The EU, the Troika, the tradicional and corrupt parties... etc are using the law of fear to manipulate people so that things remain the same and those who caused the crisis are now portraying themselves as heroes and accusing the ones with opposite views of being the villains.

At the end of the day, no matter what happens, the people will suffer the consequences. And once they are done with Greece they will go after Spain, Italy and Portugal, what they call the "Pigs" of Europe.

Do the Greeks not have to take at least a little responsibility for this mess?
Of course they have to. The richest percent of the greek people are still paying no taxes. How are you going to explain this to eastern european countries that have a lower living standard but still are supposed to spend tax money on greece? Not to mention that Greece already had a debt cut of 100 Billion eur. NO bancrupt country in the western World has been treated as generously as greece.
The Greek people don´t have to pay for a debt they didn´t create. It is something similar to what is happening in Spain. The traditional political parties are corrupt and have been cheating for decades and now the EU, Germany, the IMF ... etc pretend that the payment of the debt falls on the shoulder´s of the weakest., that is, the working classes.

The rich people and the big companies( most of them are related in some way or another with the traditional political parties ) have been taking their money from Spain and Greece to the banks in Switzerland and other places where they don´t have to pay taxes and can hide the real amounts they own. This is common knowledge but the governments did nothing against this because a lot of politicians also hide their money in tax havens. So, the ones who can change the laws are the same ones who are cheating. And some of these politicians end up working in some of those big companies that hide their money in tax havens or end up with important positions in stuff related to the EU. It is all a never ending circle.

One of the things the current government in Greece is trying to do is to make the ones who have more to pay more but guess what? They don´t allow them.

It is not people´s fault, it´s the banks and the politicians fault and they are forcing the Greek people to pay a debt they didn´t create.

Thats one Part of the story. The other one is that wages and pensions exploded after greece was accepted in the euro. Based on debr. For countries like greece its not realistic to have a living standard like germany. And its not fair to let other states permanently pay for it.
And again, that´s not people´s fault. They don´t run the country and they were cheated by the corrupt politicians. THEY faked the numbers and they did it all wrong and allowed corruption to rotten it all. Why aren´t those who caused the crisis paying for it?.

Is that claiming that Germany essentially equates 'rich people'? There are poor people in Germany also as well as a lot of middle income taxpayers.

Germany doesn´t equate rich people but Germany runs Europe and behaves as if everybody had to do what they demand. And German banks are guilty too because of their irresponsible lending, and now they want the money back at all cost even if it means the ruin of a country.

It´s all the same circle. The money from the bail outs go to the banks and they use it to pay their debts with German banks and the rest of the countries that lended money when the bail out is supposed to be used to help reactivate the economy of the country and to give credit and loans to people. That money NEVERgoes to people.

Its the peoples fault. We have a represantive democracy and for a long time all people benefitted from the corruption.

Germany is not running europe. For example germany is overruled in the council of the ecb each time. Its a hard fact of life that you loose a piece of independece when you get yourself Into debt. I can remember the first years after we got the euro it was a big party for countries like greece, portugal and spain. The wages rose, the pensions Rose all people had jobs. But that wasnt based on economical strength, it was based on debt and now the party is over. Meanwhile in Germany people suffered due to hard social cuts. Its hard to explain these people in Germany that they have to spend their hard earned tax money for people in Greece that dont even charge any taxes from the richest people. I am from germany and I am used to anti german ressentiments. But Germany sacrificed a lot for the European project and its a shame that countries like greece expect us to pay and pay and keep pur mouth shut. And when we say anything we are the mean nazis. Personally Id like germany to leave the EU and let the rest of europe handle things by themselves.

No. People were lied to and cheated by the traditional political parties. The average Joe doesn´t run the country and most of the people were not aware of all the corruption and were not aware of how the politicians prostituted their countries and put them to the service of the banks and the big companies. They are the ones that run the countries behind the scenes. We, the citizens, are sold and they don´t give a shit about us.

The euro wansn´t a big party. I don´t know which stories you´ve been told but that´s not exactly true. They didn´t even have the decency to ask people if they wanted the euro because they knew most of them didn´t want it. The only ones who benefitted from the euro are the same ones who don´t pay any taxes, that is, the richest. In the case of Spain, when the euro entered we saw how the cost of life increased whereas our shitty salaries remained the same. I remember all the politicians on tv talking about Europe and Germany and they always used that as an excuse whenever they raised taxes. They always said that in Europe and in Germany people paid high taxes so they "had to raise taxes to contribute and grow the economy". We had shitty jobs, shitty contracts and shitty working conditions. The problem was that our economy was based on real state speculation and that´s why there were a lot of jobs offered. We didn´t have too many stable and well paid jobs but if you were jobless you could easily find another job (with the same shitty conditions).

The banks did A LOT of irresponsible lending and they gave loans to people with shitty and unstable jobs even though they knew those people wouldn´t be able to pay. They never said no when someone asked for a bank loan. They even played the generosity game and contributed to increase the real state bubble.

The EU, the IMF (as you said, controlled by the US) and the Central European Bank DID know what was going on and did nothing to stop the nonsense. The politicians and the former governments did know what was going on and did nothing either. Why? Because they knew that after their political careers were over they would be working in important positions in the banks, in the big companies and in the EU. They didn´t care because they knew that when the bubble exploded they wouldn´t have to pay nor assume any responsibility and turned their cheeks to the other side.

Now, our shitty contracts are worse. Our shitty working conditions are worse and our shitty salaries are even lower BUT our taxes keep rising and we are being forced to pay with "our hard earned money" a debt we didn´t cause.

And one more thing: American banks and German banks did A LOT of irresponsible lending and invested their money and they were aware of what was going on in countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal. And guess what? NO ONE dares ask them for any responsibilities.

  7. Damned if he tweets, damned if he doesn´t.

    Well hello miss negative.

Your post doesn't really make sense. And is really you just misrepresenting what is going on.

Axl hasn't tweeted anything about the follow up to CD, which was released seven years ago. In spite of him saying they had two completed albums in the can, round two, they didn't record the music to NOT release it, etc

GnR had their lead guitar player quit months ago. Not a word from Axl about it

    No word on another tour.

Basically the lead singer of GnR hasn't spoken about GnR in how long!???

People aren't complaining that he tweeted about his cat. They are complaining that he has time to post cat selfies but not share a sole one sentence update on the status of GnR.

Your negative post twisting the truth just adds more fuel to the constant fighting that goes on in the forum.

LOL miss negative?. I wasn´t being negative, just pointing out the obvious.

People complain no matter what happens. Even if Axl decided to tweet every 30 minutes telling us stuff about the band/music people would still find a reason to complain and I even bet that some would complain because of him tweeting too much lol.

  11. I started being a fan when I was 13 or so. A school mate introduced me to GNR and the first thing that attracted me was Axl´s voice. I´ve been a fan since then. I remember when they cancelled their last show in the Vicente Calderón Stadium (Madrid) because of some problems with the place. They came back in 1993 and I remember how frustrated I felt because my parents didn´t allow me to travel to attend the show. I also remember watching the mythical MTV performace with Elton John on tv, and the Freddy Mercury show, and when a spanish tv channel broadcasted a show from Paris...etc. Those times were so different, and so cool at the same time. It was all about music and we didn´t have internet yet so we didn´t have as many info as we have today.

Even in those years people looked at me saying that I didnt look like the kind of person who would like "a guy like that", as if being a fan of someone like Axl Rose was a crime lol. I didn´t give a shit back then and I don´t give a shit right now. He´s always been my favourite singer, he is the reason I started liking GNR and I don´t need anyone´s seal of approval to continue being a fan.

What´s the positive side of being an Axl fan? I don´t know, all I can say is that I have always been very proud to say that he is my favourite singer and I don´t care how many tours, or how many cd´s or how long he takes to come back to the public scene. Good or bad, my opinion is not going to change and he will still be my favourite.

  12. This is the first site I found back in 2002 and although I used to post in other forums as well, this forum was always the one I came back to. I even took an involuntary break thanks to certain pshycho admin but that's another story. This place has had its highs and lows and even in the periods of silence it managed to survive. There were times when it was full of people whose only purpose was to create bad blood and poison the atmosphere. They turned this place into a very negative place. Since Subs became the admin of this place things have changed a lot. You find all kinds of ppl but at least the atmosphere is not poisoned. Some ppl disappeared because they lost interest and some others just don t come as much as they used to because they have their own life stuff to worry about.

  13. They have imported this in Spain and now a lot of stores do the Black Friday thing. It´s a good chance to buy stuff cheaper because if it wasn´t for the crisis those bastards wouldn´t offer any decent sales. Althought luckily, we don´t see situations like the one showed in the first post...yet
