noooo. Take a look at how he sings I Feel Good. Or any of the ACDC shows really. His voice still sounds the same, if it had aged he wouldn't be able to replicate that ever. He lost no range, he sang Hells Bells in the original key last year! But he did it last year and still does all throughout that one cover song, probably because he does care about that song since it's fun for him to do. Making this clean voice on YCBM etc very fucking stupid. Either he really doesn't give a fuck about those songs anymore or he legit thinks the falsetto sounds good.

you know he thinks its amazing sounding..  hes always said from the time he wrote that song its hard to sing.  they should take it out thou retire it after one last alto high!

  2. After the speech about trump he actually says more .....between the punch lines of KOHD, I was literally directly below him and have video of it. He says something like "that's what im talking about" then something like "its not impossible to do."  How do I upload a video so someone can figure this out.  Sounds like he's making jokes about the band

Absolutely phenomenal show. First Guns show I've seen since 2010 and the first time in my life I've seen Axl, Slash and Duff all together obviously with my first show being in 2001.

Scored floor seats at the 50 yard line dead center for $40 a pop which was insane, I honestly thought we got ripped off with how cheap the guy was letting em go.

Ive been on this forum for probably 10 years or so now and purposely haven't followed anything since last summer, I figured it would be 3/4 of the usual setlist and was right with that but MAN Double Talkin Jive, Yesterday's, Memory/Attitude, Used To Love Her and Coma really caught me off guard, I knew they were sort of in the rotation but wasn't expecting all of that! Black Hole Sun cover was totally unexpected and fucking awesome.

Axl sounded really strong which I was skeptical about heading into the show due to the altitude. Tons of smiles and was more engaging than I expected also.

Ive seen Slash with VR/solo a ton but holy fuck was it mind blowing to just watch him take his original GnR licks to the next level, the extended intro on DTJ was sweet and he even threw a little Slayer tease into part of the Godfather solo which I'm assuming was because they were also playing about 20 minutes down the road last night.

All in all an unbelievable show and a night I'll definitely never forget, only complaint would be the amount of casuals who barely reacted at all/sat down unless one of the "hits" was being played.. Ran past security to the front of the seats behind the pit dead center for the 5 song encore, the crowd was way better down there obviously and I tried to line myself up for the mic toss and thought I was in a good spot but Axl just gave it a small underhand toss a couple feet into the pit.

Guns N Fucking Roses though, wow.

I want to hear that solo by slash did you record or know of any recordings.

Thats just how America keeps crowd control... The only band i know that has not had seats on the floor on their tour of America lately has been Metallica...

I was on the floor for GNR in NOLA last year and could not see a damn thing. I kept having to look up at the big ass side stage screens.

All the people in the seats on the side usually sit down after 5 songs anyway.

Not true I was front row seats and in the pit.  The seats suck ass you feel miles away.  The 12 foot gap between stage and rail of pit of ridiculous also.  Its GnR and Loud so being confined to a seat is impossible, least for us blue collard tweekers!

Well, you didnt explain before that she wanted to give it back to him by going up there.

I agree the situation with the bodyguard is really bad..... it seems to me those guys exercise some violence against women and children during shows and I dont understand why that is allowed.

It was Axls bodyguard Earl, again found that out after, from this forum.....hence why I brought this up in this scope....and avatar "Madison" is the only one who addressed it to the camp.

    This story is confusing...

Your girlfriend caught Axl's ring and she put it in her finger? while the bodyguard saw her doing that and jumped on her?
Why did she put the ring on her finger?

You were scorted out of the show?

she was showing axl so she could give it back her hand was in the air and instead of him saying come up here thank you he had his damn body guard assault her for it.  what's confusing? and because I had no clue what was happening except my wife was in a choke hold by a 7 foot tall 350 black guy and axl is yelling at him to do it.  you can listen to it skip to YCBM in that show

    Did she give it back?

I didn't know she caught it next thing I know a huge black guy is wrestling her so I jumped him and then axl had us thrown out.  I was livid and tried to get on stage and beat axl's dreadlock looking ass. One of these shows I will sucker punch his ass for pay back unless he mans up and apologizes which we all know his ego is way to big for that.  She told me what happened after. No she didn't give it back his body guard ripped it off her finger.  I though he was trying to steal her wedding ring which Is why I went nuts. She said it was a HUGE black onyx with diamonds. Axl was on the mic yelling at his body guard I was into brian playing the drums for YCBM so I didn't notice. you can not find any footage of that show online only a vocal recording due to the fact battery charges could be filled. so he knows

I agree that it is a treat having Angus show up, insane to complain about it. It doesn't take anything away from the show and either way, you never know what you sign up for when buying a ticket.  "I was expecting 27 songs and got 26, this is not acceptable!!"?! However it IS kind of odd playing Riff Raff. Just imagine Slash showing up at an AC/DC show and ripping right into Locomotive. Such a meh moment for the crowd compared to what could be! The Guns crowd would likely be euphoric to You Shook Me.

wow you so just threw out - slash locomotive angus - fuck ya!

I agree, there's just some songs that Axl can't really do justice to anymore... unfortunately for GNR and GNR fans, it's all of their biggest songs Sweet child, NV, YCBM. Axl sounded fine on the outro of NV, but all the way up to that was fairly hard to listen to.

Slash During the 2nd NV solo... terrible, Outro solo... same thing. The guy cannot intonate the NV solo properly anymore, every bloody night. He sounds like I did trying to play NV when I was a beginner. No excuse, he has top quality IEMs (a dedicated monitor engineer) and the best gear that money can afford, so I really don't know what the problem is.

    Problem is he's sober "."

  10. Not one of them plays the song with passion.  Its actually pretty painful to listen to.  I even sent Frank a video of Matt playing it and asked him hit the fills and rolls. If he can play DTJT then he can play this song.  Same on Axl and Slash form not getting way into this one.  I know they can do it I am confused why their not. smh
