  1. I'd say Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin,.. how the hell could you forget to put them on the list? I mean c'mon.. Led Zeppelin!

Sorry, i forgot Black Sabbath. :P And actually i didn't know Led Zeppelin was a british band. i didn't know 'cause i don't care about them.

  2. Hehe, i don't have that many bands that i listen much but let's see what comes up to my mind

    Alice Cooper

    Bob Dylan

    Chuck Berry

    Dire Straits

    Eagles

    Foo Fighters

    Guns n' Roses

    Hanoi Rocks

    Izzy Stradlin

Judas Priest / Jamiroquai / Jeff Beck (can't choose)

    Kansas

    Leonard Cohen

    Metallica

    Nick Cave

    Oasis

    Pink Floyd

    Queen

    Rolling Stones

    Slash's Snakepit

Tito and Tarantula / Tom Jones / Toto / Thin Lizzy

    Urge Overkill

    Velvet Revolver

    White Snake

    XL5

    Zen Cafe

    Last three are finnish bands...

  3. What are your favourite Queen songs?

    The Show Must Go On

    Breakthru

    A Kind of Magic

    Who Wants to Live Forever

    Don't Stop Me Now

    Ride the Wild Wind

    Bohemian Rhapsody

    ...

  4. What is wrong with you people!  :'(

For crying out load...the new members are much better musicians than the old band, just because one wears a bucket instead of a top hat doesn't mean he isn't 'real' guns n roses...

Axl, Bucket, Finck, Stinson, Dizzy, Brain - GUNS N' ROSES

where have the faithful gone.....  :(

Maybe they are technically better musicians but Mozart was a hell of a musician and he isn't Guns N' Roses! GNR doesn't mean "talented musicians", it means the band that rocked the world 1987-1993/4. And B-head and co weren't in that band. I got nothing against the new band but it isn't the real and the original Guns N' Roses just because the name says so.

  5. Remember: Slash, Duff, Izzy, Matt. They are human beings, not some kind of music machines which can survive all the misery that was going on in the band. It's like a marriage - divorse was the best solution. Not maybe for us, fans, but for them. And as a fans we should respect their desicions and personally i can say that i don't want them to go through all the pain just to please us. They didn't want to stay in the band - fine!

There isn't Guns N' Roses anymore, it's just a name now and there's nothing behind the name like there used to be.

  6. Who (for whatever reasons) walked out on Guns N' Roses and all their fans?

Answer = Slash, Duff, Matt, Izzy...

Are you saying that they didn't have the right to leave the band if they didn't like it?

  7. Who wrote Mr. Brownstone?

    Who wrote DTJ?

Who played the great solo of that song?

Who was the coolest band member?

Who was the spirit of GNR?

    Who has the coolest name?

    Who wrote PTU?

Who wrote awesome riffs besides Slash?

Izzy. Just wanted to mention.  ;D Don't forget him.

  8. There are many but one gives me a chill every time:

"Cause I see the storm getting closer

and those waves they get so high

seems everything we've ever know's here

why must it drift away and die"

    I believe that's my signature also. :)

    and of course:

    "I used to love her

but I had to kill her

I had to put her six feet under

an' I can still hear her complain"

    That song makes me laugh.

  9. Do you think that Axl could force his voice to sound like it used to?  Or was he just forcing that old voice the whole time?

I believe he could force that old sound and i think this new higher and softer voice is part of that "new" gnr style or something...

  10. Duff sung only his solo work So Fine and some songs in Spaghetti album. 14 years, Double Talkin' Jive, Dust N' Bones are Izzy's. You can check it out in your cd cover...just wanted to make it clear. :)

I like more Izzy altough Duff's voice in So Fine is pretty good. But in his solo career it sucked and Izzy's voice fits in his solo songs. But if you think that one of them should sing in project band i say no way. Izzy is good background vocalist but lead ain't so great exept sometimes it's nice to get some change. 8)

  11. Yes Izzy's albums (especially 117) is great rock with great lyrics and soft feeling on the music. It's not hard rock at all... It's kind of music that gives you peace of mind :D

  12. why is it so amazing that Axl is a gentleman? or that no one pulled anything with your friends?  they do all have wives or girlfriends after all. is it so strange that rockstars can behave? ;)

Sometimes it's strange that Axl can behave. ;) and that's just the reason why we all love him so much!!! ;D

  13. Axl has worn a crucifix around his neck for many years and has a large crucifix on a wall in his home. So I don't think this is anything new.

Yes and his lyrics have always got something to do with religion... remember that he was a choir boy as a kid. ;D

  14. Izzy have released 5 albums

    Ju Ju Hounds

    117 Degrees

    Ride On

    River

On Down The Road (released only in Japan yet)

I prefer 117 Degrees. But River is also very good and Ride on is "nice". :) I don't like very much Ju Ju Hounds but it contains couple good songs. I haven't heard ODTR album and I haven't heard Gilby's music at all.

But if you like soft rock and Izzy's Ju Ju Hounds I recommend you to buy one of his albums.
