The General isn’t bad it just didn’t live up to the hype one poster said it is better than This I Love I disagree This I Love is one of the most emotional songs I ever listened to I know some don’t like it but I do aka different strokes for different folks

I think a couple of songs from Duff's last two albums could have worked, e.g. Longfeather could be really good with Axl and Slash. I thought Del's "Without You" story (that's the only stuff I've read from him) was pretty poor - I hardly made it through it - but his lyrics to The Garden and Yesterdays were good. The lyrics he has written for Testament are not great, but if Axl has a lyrical concept, he could help him complete a verse or a chorus etc.

I agree with the comment the 2017 show was great but 2021 not so much hoping this one is good then I will see them the following Friday at PNC in Pittsburgh. The 2017 show in Hershey was also on my 48 birthday and it was a great show. These 2 shows will prolly be my last as I’m retiring from going to concerts
