  1. i dont get it, why would anybody trash the bands equipment?

i would fuckin grab all the guitars and let it out of there :P

    but thats just me

um when you are trowing chairs etc from 200 feet away god knows what they might hit! ;)

    Gunsguy

but in the videos it shows people up on the stage next to the equipment.

surely some things must have survived.

But in a way...im not too sure the reports are entirely true

they say ALL the bands equipment was damaged

then what about Duffs bass? the white fender that he still uses to this day. That is still here so im sure the band got off with some of their stuff

  2. it was fucking hilarious, his name was george dorge

    George Dawes...

    team_george95x74.jpg

    George Dawes

George is obsessed with keeping scores. He's now 243-0 up in a Boggle tournament against his belly fluff.

    LMAO

he was great, Uri ka ka ka ka ka

Mark was always better...but Nevermind the buzzcocks is sooooo much better now.

Anyone see the one with slash on it?

  3. It's a great song to listen to whilst thinking about your ex-girlfriend

    Back off, back off bitch

Down in the gutter dyin' in the ditch

You better back off, back off bitch

Face of an angel with the love of a witch

    Back off, back off bitch

    Back off, back off bitch

Reminds me of my EX...lol. :P

    reminds me of mine too...

how i would love to sing that too her face....well scream it at her actually :P

  4. Black Dog rocks!

i remember when they used to use that on a British show called 'Shooting Stars' (BBC2)

they had a drummer who would dress like a baby then when he came out it would ply the intro and when it got to the chorus they changed it too 'Hes a baby, hes a bady'

it was fucking hilarious, his name was george dorge

  5. This might be a bit off topic, but I have heard so many good things about Led Zeppelin, but have never bought any of their albums yet. How would you describe Led Zeppelin? Are they kind of psychadelic like Pink Floyd? Do they play hard rock? Are most of their songs pretty long, or do they play average timed songs?

i think there there very similar to 'the cult' (matts old band)

    just my opinion though

  6. i dont know what the animals name is but they look like buffalos

anyway, i choose version 3 because the model is hot :P and i love hte way Bono stops singing halfway through a chorus and lets the song play on

  7. Most people say they like Roth more and its wierd considering VH sold more albums with Hagar. Im sure a majority of the people who say they prefer Roth only say so because they seem to think its cooler to like him...

well lets see....of course hagars going to sell more because with him the band moved in a new direction, pop crap

  8. THE 80's IS THE WORST DECADE OF MUSIC EVER... EVEN IN THE FUTURE i.e 3004 THEY WILL BE SAYING THE 80's WAS SHIT!!!!!

60's and 70's were the best decades! followed by the 90;s.

    I totally agree!

Apart from AFD most music of the 80's was pure crap.

    Old Metallica - crap??

    Maiden - crap??

    early Savatage - crap??

    Sodom - crap??

    Anthrax - crap??

    Helloween - crap??

    Grave Digger - crap??

    :anger::anger::anger:

    yep

    yep

    yep

    yep

    yep

    yep and

    yep

    B)

  9. i'll actually answer the question....

Poundcake, Humans Being, Up For Breakfast, Good Enough, Not Enough, Inside, Top of the World, Finish What Ya Started (classic), Right Now, Runaround

i think the whole For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album rocks. the best Hagar-era album.

Dave rocks, too, I'm not partial to either singer, but love both. Right now I'm more on Dave's side, since he's never screwed me over, and VH has screwed me over twice in the last couple weeks.

why did they screw you over?

  10. HAHA VAN HANLEN SONG ONLY HAVE TWO WELL KNOWN SONGS... PANAMA AND JUMP! BOTH ARE INCREDIBLY CHEESEY AND UTTERLY SHIT!!!! LMFAO

wow....you know alot, my van Hanlen????

  11. Oh here it comes again

That funny feelin again winding me up inside

    Every time we touch

    Hey I don't know

Just tell me where to begin cause I never ever

    Felt so much

No I can't recall any love at all

Baby this blows 'em all away

    It's got what it takes

So tell me why can't this be love

Straight from my heart oh tell me why

    Can't this be love

    I tell myself

Hey only fools rush in an only time will tell

If we stand the test of time

    All I know

You've got to run to win an I'll be damned if

I'll get hung up on the line

Tell me why can't this be love

Baby why can't this be love

Got to know why can't this be love

I wanna know why can't this be love

Great song, great lyrics, better than some song about Dave's car.

    Sammy > Dave

But that's just my opinion, I'm not saying anyone who likes Dave better is fucking mad.

but dont you just hate it when rock stars start making cheesy love songs...i bet he just wrote it to sell....SCOM was written for Erin from the heart so thats a good thing to do but just to fit in with the market is wrong

  12. what are the best songs van halen did with hagar????????

Well 5150 is a bitchin album.

Among the best are Dreams, When It's Love, Why Can't This Be Love, Right Now, Top of the World, Poundcake...to name a few.

    ARE YOU FUCKING MAD????

why cant thins be love has to be the shittest most chessiest song every to come out of the 80's......and thats saying something....especially the bit where they go.

DO DO DO DO DO DODODODO, near the solo

  13. Erm the 80s had a lot of cheesy pop crap and the start of boy bands, and shockingly piss poor videos (mostly). Not like in the 70s where the "video" would be them playing live on stage.

So best era i would say was the 70s, when rock ruled the world and got banned by do-gooders for being evil and satanic.

    cheesy, yes but manufactured no..!!!

  14. Well at least this is my personal opinion ....I think that decade was glorious for music and can't be compared to any other. The bands, the style...everything was amazing!!! B) B)

    What do yo think?

or.....is it just that GnR were big then :P

yeah i agree with you, everything was about music then and hardly any manufactured pop crap.....they all 'mostly' wrote their own music, even one of my favs Duran Duran wrote their own music which you gotta give them credit for.

  15. not in any order:

HIM - Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights

Guns N' Roses - (Yet to be decided)

Junior Senior - D-D-Don't Don't Stop The Beat

    The Rasmus - Dead Letters

    t.A.T.u - 200KM In The Wrong Lane

    Electric Six - Fire

    HIM - Razorblade Romance

Busted - A Present For Everyone

    hey sarah, i love u 2 bits :wub::wub:

....but that list is wrong, :P

    these are mine anyway

    GnR - AFD

    Van Halen - self titled

    AC/DC - High Voltage

LostProphets - Fake Sound of Progress - very underated album but so fucking awesome

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall

Bon Jovi - Slippery when Wet (ducks for cover :scared: )

    Led Zeppelin - LZ 1

    Audioslave - self titled

    Def Leppard - Pyromania

U2 - my favs 'achtung baby but the debuts cool
