just got the DVD today and it has to be the best Live DVD ever!!!! it really is
Bono is very in touch with the crowd running out into them all the time to get them going.
Highlights of the DVD for me..
Beautiful day' where he changes it to 'Beautiful goal'! lol
'Desire' they all get on the walkway and play together right in the crowd
'With or Without you' lots of extra lovely lyrics
'One' good performance......heard better but cant complain
the best by far though
'Where the streets have no name' is fucking awesome!!! it starts with Bono singing a note on the walkway and The Edge comes in with the intro....i tell you now, he is fast becomming my favourite guitarist ever...he just looks so cool and innocent (you could say, lol) when he plays by always smiling and genuinly having a good time
I would highly suggest this DVD to any fan of concerts in general....this is the band GnR should take advice off, the UYI DVD's can be found in the 'Bargain bin' next to this.

i would still be listening to bands like Linkin Park and Staind if it wasnt for GnR!

-
Have you heard Justin Hawkins wants Bono's part in the Feed The World song?
-
Stevie Ray....saw him for the first time on DVD the other day and his version of Vodoo Child tears Jimi's to pieces
-
not here in the UK....you get the odd mainstream country music song that makes the charts like Shania Twain or Leanne Rymes (Sp?)
-
when are they coming to the UK????
im getting pissed off
next year, according to Mikey...
that is... if they don't break up...
oh well..
maybe sammy will leave....david will give up the whole paramedic thing and the originals will rock again
B)
I'd go to the UK to see that, if they didn't come to the US! That'd be flippin' awesome!
dunno if it'll happen though... there have been 3 attempted Roth/VH reunions since 1995.
why did they all fail?

Well I am not sure. The lyrics sound like this: Sing with me /sing for the year/sing for the laughter/and sing for the tear/sing with me/just for today/maybe tomorrow /the good Lord shall take you away(or something like that).I know this song to be called ''Sing for the moment'',if it has another name (Dream on) it's news to me.
your thinking of the Eminem version
He had a song called sing for the moment in which he raps in the verses then in the chorus he uses clips from Aerosmiths 'Dream on' in the background.....but i assure you, it is dream on your hearing in teh background....eminem kind of ruined it

Radiohead - Best band in the world imo.
Darkness
Led Zeppelin
AC/DC.
Rage Against the Machine
U2
The Hives
Franz Ferdinand
Placebo
The Cure
And lots more.
Love that list
I tend to find radiohead a bit pretentious though. Like as though they are trying too hard to be unique, and arty...
I also hate radiohead fans... They think they are so much better than anyone else.
But the rest of the list is awesome
too true, i know a radiohead fan who puts me down for listening to GNR saying there 'old' and 'boring'
yet radiohead make depressing dull and uninspirational music...
well my list..here goes
rock
U2
the cult
david bowie
led zeppelin
def leppard
blondie
The smiths
The Doors
INXS
AC/DC
iron maiden
Van Halen
VR
lenny Kravitz
the clash
Cheesy 80's music
frankie goes to hollywood
duran duran
ABC
Tears for Fears
spanduet ballet, lol

U2 To Tour in '05... But Don't Buy Tickets Yet!
Paul McGuinness has confirmed that U2 will tour next year but urged fans not to buy tickets until details are confirmed.
U2 manager Paul McGuinness today confirmed that the band will set out on a major tour next year but urged the band's fans not to part with any money for concert tickets until the tour details are confirmed.
An announcement is expected in the coming months. Some web sites are currently offering tickets for speculative dates.
"We are still very much in the planning stages of our tour for next year which will visit the US, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia, and the band is really looking forward to getting out on the road." said McGuinness today.
"As soon as we have finalised the plans, the tour will be announced on U2.Com as usual and purchase instructions will be clearly available. Nothing is confirmed until the official tour announcement, no tickets will be on sale until after this time."
U2's forthcoming album, 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb', will be released by Universal Island Records on 22nd November.
'Vertigo', the first single from the album, is currently Number 1 on the download chart and hits shops on 8th November.
