    I really enjoyed the first few posts from Axl, but I have to say that the last couple have reflected so much anger. I imagine a psychologist would have a grand ol' time analyzing all of this paranoia. The long description of all of the issues really reminded me of the ramblings of someone with some deep seated mental health issues (pressured speech is the term I believe). It just seems like Axl's in one big perpetual fight, with the old band, the fan questions, prior loves, etc.,. It's a shame, because he's made just a terrific record in Chinese Democracy, and in fact had already established himself as an American icon/legend. I wonder if he is ever able to just take a moment and be proud of all he's accomplished and have a glimmer of peace and happiness? I suppose the same pathology that generates all of this amazing, emotional music is the same pathology that causes so much anger and hurt. Double edge sword I suppose...

    Axl posted his last post because it was what we all wanted to know, and he's never had the chance to express his views on the subject. Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steve express them on almost a monthly basis over the past 15 years, how come when Axl eventually does the same it's because he has deep rooted mental issues?

    Don't take your pre-conceptions of the man and try to shoe-horn them in to places they don't fit. Axl's post wasn't the ramblings of a bitter mad man, it was an eloquent telling of how he sees it (whether or not you agree with him is your own choice). A man consumed by his own sense of self pity and bitterness wouldn't have stayed silent for so long, and then only broke that silence on a fan-board.

    The guy can't win, don't answer questions about the old band and he's deliberately dodging them, answer questions about the old band and he's a bitter mental case who needs to get over it.

    Hit the nail on the head! Couldnt have said it any better myself!! Damned if does, damned if he doesnt! <_<

    I'm not sure how Trend Micro works, but a lot of firewalls work by creating settings for each program on your PC. It could just be that the firewall is blocking Firefox, or Internet Explorer, or whatever browser you normally use. You probably don't want to turn the firewall off entirely, just ensure it's set up to allow you to browse the Internet.

    That's weird.

    Do you have Trend Micro's firewall turned on? If so, try turning it off and see if you can connect.

    One thing that I would recommend is uninstalling Trend Micro and getting AVG Free Antivirus. Like the name says, it's free, so you won't have to buy a subscription for it like you will have to with Trend Micro. You can download the software here: http://free.avg.com/

    I thought about AVG but I got a 3 year deal with Trend for $100.(part of the computer package) Its normally about $80 per year.

    I'm not sure about the firewall thing! When I get home this afternoon I will ring Trend. Just thought I might save myself waiting on the bloody phone for an hour!

    Does anyone use Trend Micro??

    I have just bought a new home computer and it Has Trend Micro installed as the antivirus??

    The problem is I cant get onto the internet when its turned on!

    Do I need to adjust the level a security??

    Triple M is a highly reputable music station in Australia!

    They have updated the page!

    UPDATE: Triple M has since spoken to two Universal Music reps and seen their release schedule, with each confirming the record will hit shelves in Australia on Saturday November 22, one day before the US release date.
