  1. He's a great cover artist. I guess I'll give him that.

But the dude can't make his own music, clearly.

I beg to differ , i find his solo's very melodic and as an modest guitarist myself , i find them challenging to learn , but enjoyable to play . I will be awaiting the bashing and punishment that will be bestowed upon me by the "fans" for liking a GNR guitarist

  2. It's also on the front of Rolling Stones now :

Half of Axl Rose's Lawsuit Against 'Guitar Hero' to Proceed

Singer sued over inclusion of Slash on cover of video game

Axl Rose had mixed results in a Los Angeles court yesterday regarding a $20 million lawsuit against the makers of Guitar Hero III, according to The Hollywood Reporter. A judge dismissed Rose's fraud claim, but kept a breach-of-contract allegation against Activision Blizzard for including ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash in the video game.

Rose claims that he and his Black Frog Music company cleared "Welcome to the Jungle" after Activision promised them the game wouldn't feature Slash – who subsequently appeared prominently on the front cover when the game came out in 2007.

The Guns N' Roses singer didn't file the lawsuit until three years later, in November 2010, though a representative had emailed Activision about the issue in 2007. Activision says Rose's lawsuit came after the statute of limitations had expired. Though Rose said he didn't file a claim sooner because Activision had made various business proposals "worth millions of dollars" – including a GNR-themed video game dedicated to music from Chinese Democracy, the band's 2008 album – the judge appeared to side with the game publisher.

Rose had better luck with his breach-of-contract claim, which contends that Activision proceeded with the game over Rose's objections to the use of Slash's image. Activision says Rose had no standing to object: the company licensed "Welcome to the Jungle" from GNR Music, the band's publishing arm, which required approval by all three partners: Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. "Rose had no authority to enter into a license for 'Welcome to the Jungle' in his individual capacity because he does not own the song or the sound recording," Activision argued in court.

Still, a judge scheduled a court date for February 1st, 2013, to settle the breach-of-contract claim.

  3. DJs name wasnt even in the intro. but he was playing jimmy fallons intro, and fallon seemed like he was pointing at him a couple of times. think he played half of mi amor 4 minutes into the show, the fallon annouced him as "THAT IS GUNS N ROSES GUITARIST DJ ASHBA." and said how hes hosting an event at the hard rock(?) in las vegas because of bullyville.com. talked about the residency. Fallon made a joke "you do know the band has to show up to these gigs correct? thats what a residency is!" with ashba saying "we can live there we dont have to leave!" and fallon replying with "oh my thats going to be a nightmare... and thats about all the time he got besides outros and such

EDIT: also when fallon was doing his "Pros and Cons" of sharkweek fallon says "PRO- sharks are the most terrifying creatures in the water. CON- Besides womens synchronized swimmers" and he showed a picture of all the stupid faces they made and cut to DJ i guess to get a shot of there guest laughing and enjoying himself, and all he was doing was standing there not even laughing with his hand on his guitar.

I fell asleep and woke up just went that weird girl was singing with Pittman's instrument it seems . I would love to see the little part you said 4 min in about mi amor .

  4. 1. Chinese Democracy

    2. Welcome to the Jungle

    3. It's so easy

    5. Sorry

My brother is in Rotterdam in Ahoy right now and i just heard it from his phone . I won't be able to update more , just passing what i just got right now ...

  5. Axl vacating the space to those who will milk it for all its worth - that's what irks me. Basking in the honour of GN'R's successes is Axl's rightful due.

He doesn't need it. The others do. That's what's so cool. That's what drivers the haters here insane.

    This .

  6. All 3 guys play their parts to perfection. You can knock DJ all you want for not being "original", but he's the only one who came to this last tour with a unique solo. Also, to the average GNR fan, who come and want to hear their favorite GNR songs, he plays them closest to their original form.

Bumble is the best overall. Fortus rocks the hardest on stage. Why can't we just love the entire GNR guitar army? They all rock and make GNR one of the best live bands today.

    This

  7. makes it into my top 3 GnR.

awesome lyrics ( i love the "there were always ample warnings.." part)

the band could pull it off, but it should be the last song on the set because I don't think Axl would feel so great afterwards

Would love to hear their take on it and i agree Axl would need a bigger oxygen tank for this one .

  8. Räikkönen to feature on Top Gear

Formula 1 returnee Kimi Räikkönen will feature on Top Gear next weekend, taking part in the final episode of the programme's eighteenth series. The Lotus driver will be joined on the show by former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash (Saul Hudson).

The 32-year-old Finn, who has claimed 18 race victories and a world title during his F1 career to date, will be battling to outpace a host of current on-track rivals who have previously taken on the challenge of being the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car'.

Reigning Champion Sebastian Vettel is currently the fastest man on the F1 board, with the German setting a time of 1:44.0 last year. The episode, including Räikkönen's lap in the Suzuki Liana, will be aired on BBC2 at 8pm BST on Sunday 11 March.

  9. I know it's cliche , but damn , it's a good time to be a guns fan ! Looks like syicking with Guns is finally paying off !!!

Not to sound like a downer or anything, but they're just pictures. :shrugs:

I'll be real excited when the store is finally up and running correctly, with New Gn'R merch available.

I know , they're just fuckin' awesome pictures . For years many where whinning theis isn't even a band , because there where no official band pictures . Not even when CD came out . Now we're being bombarded with pictues , intimate small venues tour , tour dates being dropped left and right , RROF .

Those are just the things that are 100 % confirmed . So it can only get better , new music , dvd , you get the picture . And please , i'm to tired to write a disclaimer for the final part , i'll just assume you did get the point .
