  1. I love their first three albums, three of my favorite albums, but their live performances bug the hell out of me.

since the load albums on they have sucked live before that they fucking owned

Really? Love the Cunning Stunts DVD. Awesome concert. IMO, their live performances went downhill and I mean DOWNHILL when James gave up drinking.

I don't know if DOWNHILL is the word necessarily but it's more appropriate to say he doesn't have that raw, unsatiated anger within him anymore that came out in the music and his onstage behaviour. Cunning Stunts is good, but it's no Seattle 1989 which I personally would have to call the greatest concert on film if Cliff were on it (no disrespect to Newkid but Cliff is well, Cliff).

I just can't take "Hello friends, we're the metallica family! You're in our hearts! We love you!" during a Metallica concert. That ruins the atmosphere completely for me.

I'm part of the Metallica family

  2. If i recall coorectly , it was 1990 or 1991 that Malboro wanted to sponsor GNR and Axl refused and wouldn't take that corporate shit , only to wear a Malboro shirt the next night just to say to them : Fuck Off . If Monster or any other brand endorses / enables them financially to put out such a big show , hey , the more power to them . I don't drink any of that shit , only beer .

  3. The GnR fanbase has made these names that might as well be working titles a LOT bigger than Axl/GnR ever meant them to be.

Silly thing is, we could name at least 10 more titles like these that we don't know anything about.

It's weird that the fans made these few so big based on nothing.

If you recall, the same thing happened with tracks like Sorry, Prostitute, TWAT, This I Love....And those songs certainly didn't disappoint. I agree that it's crazy that literally years and years go by with us simply imagining what these songs sound like based on descriptions...But I don't see anything entirely wrong with it either. :shrugs:

Didn't Twat debute in New York in 2006 at the Hammerstein ?

A studio version leaked a few months before the Hammerstein shows, but the song title's been around since 2000 when Rolling Stone magazine mentioned it as a song title.

But yes, that was the first time it was played live, same with Better & IRS.

Thanks Sofine , i still remember the NYBitch Commitee video !

  5. actually i was mugged, external disk with the finished stuff was in my backpack, since that i dont think i ll be finishing this project sometime soon, this situation got me very depressed thats why i didnt came back to the forum before..

if anyone is interested, i got the raw videos (no color correction, no sound mastering) in another HDD, but i think its a shame to upload the unfinished material.. anyway, you guys choose since i wont be finishing this until february probably..

again im sorry that i didnt post about it earlier and i hope u can understand.. thanks

Damn that's a though break , unfortunatly i know the feeling all too well , this year they stole my 3 guitars ( 1 was a Les Paul ) . We all know you've put a lot of effort into this and for that alone i have a lot of respect for you .

    Hang in there

  6. With all this commotion about Axl's voice , rain etc. , did any of you notice pieces of the ballad of death in a new rythm . Kind of like a bosanova . I thought it is a nice change , but from an amateur guitar player's perspective it's easier to play the old one .

    Thoughts ?
