  1. Metal got its roots from hip-hop and rap? Wow, I was never aware that Black Sabbath were based of such shit. Hmmm...

You sir, are the worst member or this forum. I hope you die.

One In A Million is a great song, BTW. ^_^

i said black music, not hip-hop and rap. metal came from rock and blues, both of which were started by black people.

    snap

face it: metal is for twelve-year olds and lobotomy patients. it's boring.

Face it: Shit-hop and rap are for black people. It's sucks.

that was a really ignorant comment

  2. face it: metal is for twelve-year olds and lobotomy patients. it's boring.

and to counter your next post, no, lil' wayne is not boring--he's one of the most creative lyricists in all of hip-hop.

and saying i don't have music taste based on one artist is idiotic; he represents only small fraction of the hip-hop i listen to, and hip-hop represents only a small fraction of the genres i listen to. and what does not having taste even mean? that was a bad joke. you could of i at least said i had bad taste. i guess that can be expected from either a twelve-year old or a lobotomy patient, though.

Wait so Metal sucks, but you listen to Guns N' Roses?

    ffs, a

GNR aint metal, no chug riffs, sweep arpegios, or metal solos. Its all very bluesy and hard rock

  3. So I played the new Call of Duty last night online. It isn't bad. Basically just Call of Duty 4 with a WWII face on it. The attack dogs are cool. There is just something gay about it though.

As I already knew it would be though, it's to fucking easy. A lot of people fail to see that though.

Knifing is still queer as well. And the air strikes are fucking annoying no matter who's side you're on.

I don't know if I'll be buying it. If I don't, then there is still at least one copy in the house if I want to run around and get the easiest kills on an online game I ever have.

i assume you only play team death match? Search and Destroy demands tactics because there's no respawns and people aren't magically appearing in front or behind you in the chaos that is team deathmatch.

i got the game today (gladly traded in gta4 and far cry 2) but haven't played yet. i assume there's no scopes on weapons :(

Any gametype on Call of Duty games are easy, you just have to get used to them

  4. silence followed by a deafening roar- paul gilbert

has no one heard this album?

I'm a fan of Gilbert's playing but I don't have any of his solo stuff. Will probably check it out at some point.

Judging on the leaks I'd say CD, otherwise..Don't really know, nothing has really struck me as a truely great album. I'd have to think about that one!

if you feel that it is unethical to download, check it out on youtube, he does amazing live performances (as you probably know already).

  5. Michael Angelo is a guitar noob.

So i take it you can play better then him? Play 2 guitars at once? Play both left handed and right handed? Play with your arms criss-crossed? Play using an over hand instead of underhand? Geez, why arn't you performing around the world?

that double guitar is so lame

  6. Paul Gilbert is awesome. Ask Buckethead, he'll agree ;)

    he will indeed rock3

Hes a joke. Go listen to Steve Vai then you will realise talent and such ability to write perfect songs, melodies and solo's. Batio is not what i would call very creative.

Vai isn't that good. His songs are too polished and sterile. I have two of his albums, and most songs also just consist of riffs and not of guitar solos. And the singing on it isn't that brilliant either. I like Vai, but he is nowhere near Batio.

Passion and Warfare, Alien Love Secrets, Real illusions reflections and fire garden are all amazing, check out some of his G3 performances and also live with the Metropole Orchestra and then i dont think you will be saying hes not that good.

Of course he is technically brilliant. And I have Alien Love Secrets and Real Illusions: Reflections (2005). I also have G3 in Denver and G3 in Tokyo.

He is a brilliant guitarist, but I think, like Satriani as well, his music is sometimes too polished and too trivial.

Going to see him next Saturday for the second time. ;)

Nice, I wish I could catch one of his shows. The album he released this year was amazing.

    Guitar noob.

    who was that directed at?
