This pedal was worth the money. Just over $100 for a whole bunch of effects and different tones, wow. It even has drum beats, a tuner, and metronome. It also allows you to make your own effects. You can mix two different effects together, add delay, distortion, and alot more. This is probably the best purchase ive made this year , im glad i bought this one over a single effect pedal.

heard of them, but haven't actually listened to them

Metallica
I consider bands like Aerosmith, AC/DC and Queen to be part of the 70s because thats when they put out their best music.
imo ac/dc's best album came out in 1980(Back in Black)
A lot of people consider that their best. However, I prefer their material with Bon Scott as their lead singer.
fair enough

it's because the sig is only supposed to be 400 by 150 maximum size, so it resizes it if its too big

Hey man, good to see you're putting in some effort to increase your guitar skills. Keep it up.
I would recommend you just start playing the songs that you currently play, but use alternate picking. If you're playing Don't Cry, try doing it with alternate picking.
For scales, go for the pentatonic (compulsory) to start off with. Be very strict with your down-up picking when switching between strings. Once you have this down, try a different scale such as the Ionian that has 3 notes on some strings. This is important to prevent you from getting too used to just playing down-up on each string.
Want a challenge? Try playing the solo to Miracle Man by Ozzy Osbourne using strict alternate picking. Start slow and build up your speed. Even Zakk Wylde cheats a little when playing this (he plays down-down-up) so if you can get it down with alternate picking you're on your way. Good luck!
thanks man

I'm practicing increasing my alternate picking speed. is there any songs with lots of notes that you'd suggest? or any scales?
