Oh please. No - of course it's not. Maybe the tour has helped fund the completion of the album, but there would be nothing more to it than that.
Look - it won't be out on March 6th, but it won't be too long after that before it's released. By the end of April at the latest, for sure. They wouldn't have agreed to the South African thing if they didn't know that they'd have the album finished by then.
You wish!!! you can easy 2007 write off. CD will not be realeased in 2007.

I saw the crowd empty by at least half at Inland Invasion.
I started out in row 15 area at Vegas. Towards the end of the set, I was at row 3.
I don't know how that is possible, there were no "rows" in Vegas!
As for this topic, I have been to a couple of shows, and I think it is going pretty well thus far. At $75 a ticket, you don't have to sell very many to make money. And the venues are pretty full. Vegas was sold out on Sat night, near sell out on Sunday. Inland Invasion was packed. The south Fl show was full, Tampa nearly a sell out. Jacksonville was the lowest, but still approx 70% full. MSG will be sold out. pollstar has the tour as one of the best!

I understand that there were no seats. But when people fill the area in general admission, the ones up towads the stage generally consider that to be the front. As they line up across the stage, that "front" area becomes a row of people. For short hand, they refer to that as a front row instead of "a group of people lined up in the general vicinity of where the front row would be had chairs been laid out." When I refered to the third row, it was to the "front row" as described above.
And I'm thrilled to read the 3K sized venue was a sell out. That makes sense to play those kinds of venues.

Dude the guy talks through a sock puppet named Herbie. His music get boring after about 3 minutes and yes I have his albums....and his inclusion into GNR totally spit in the face of what GNR fans live for. Technically he is amazing. I think he has a niche but not there. GNR is also about attitude and personality.. its two key ingredients in the chemistry of making good music. He's a fucken robot. He's good but he's a huge distraction. Rubber chickens at at GNR concert? Thats when I really started to think Axl and GnR were to far gone. Axl should have slapped the shit out of him for that stunt. Axl should have taken those nunchakus and shoved them up his sissy ass. Now that would have been GNR and it would have been Rock and Roll and above all else it woud have been entertaining.

Agree . Rockerman is a fucking stupid idiot. Buckethead was the best guitarist that GN'R ever had and i'm big fan of Slash. I don't care if Ron is a nice guy. I'm not fan of Axl because he is a nice guy (he is'nt), i love his music, thats all. -
Richard Fortus and Robin Finck are the 2 main guitar players in the new Guns N' Roses. Buckethead and/or Bumblefoot were/are just "additional" players.
80% of the guitar playing is done by the 2 RF. This is a strong duet. Fortus and Finck are the most important part in the newGNR guitar playing. and I guess it will be the same on the record.
How do you know that Buckethead was additional player and 80% of the guitar playing is done by the 2 RF? Sorry but to be honest i think that Fortus w'ont be on CD
Fortus did some recording late 2005 sometime around when he was touring with.... her name escapes me at this time...
Nena. I dont know if he did some recording or not. I think and hope that not. I don't know why he should do something on CD, he is not Guitar virtuoso, i've never heard his work in other group, he is avarage session player. Buckethead is the man rock1
