Why shouldn't all GNR fans (most of them, like myself, buying tickets for at least 1 show this summer) on this forum receive updates on their favorite band playing their first show tonight? Being it messages, pictures, clips or whatever. If it wasn't for the fans, this band wouldn't have the opportunity to tour at all, don't forget that!!! I, for one, am so excited about seeing GNR live in July in the Netherlands, that I welcome any material from the warm-up shows. And if I would see anyone summoning security for such case during the show I'm visiting, I would fucking straighten him out.

P.S. And yes, you're right. Then you would be in good company. Only sad thing is that within that company, you would be the only dick with his finger in his ass.

True. He's extremely busy... but I think he would put his Loser plans on hold in a second if contacted to join GN'R. He'll sell 10x the amount of Loser records if he's the new lead guitarist for Guns.

Seems unlikely that it's John-5 though considering that he was on tour with Zombie last week and there are rumors that the new player was rehearsing with the new band last week...

So far the only "hints" on the boards that we've gotten that I can remember are:

(1) someone from the New York area;

(2) someone closer in vibe and feel to Robin Finck than Buckethead;

(3) someone who would have been available to rehearse as of last week.

Robin is the new sound of GNR, like Slash in the past. He has a great feel for the music he's playing, which makes him a great lead for me. Other than Buckethead, who can rip for sure, but sounds like your playing Pacman on your Comodore64 in a fast forward way. Technique for sure, but feel deff. NOT!!!

There could be some truth in Slash returning to GNR. Think about it, why aren't all involved parties (Axl, GNR management, Slash) responding in the media? Simple, because they are negotiating Slash's new contract.

This is always the way to do business when negotiating important contracts. Look at Formula 1 or sports in general: When a popular driver and a popular team want to conclude a contract, they will only give a "no comment" to the press, because they are affraid to harm negotiations.

Anyway, I got my ticket for the 2nd of July and will see with my own eyes who's going to play lead guitar. YIHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Even if it does, I will still be supporting old and new GNR! Axel rules!
