In addition to the above, I do think some of the instrumental demo's will appear in other works.

I've seen someone post Buckethead instrumentals that sound like Shacker's Revenge (not his original Shackler song with Bootsy Collins).

I've recently read there is an album by Siren Cues called Eclectic Cinema.  This features Melissa, Brian and Paul Huge - and someone said the track Cobalt is The General.  I've not heard the song myself.

I've also just read the instrumental demo 'As it Began' was released by Saive, feauring Richard Fortus and is called Goodbye.  Official link below.

Interesting topic:) It does sound familiar

I think the 2006 demos were already a good mesure of how good the combination of Bucket and Robin was, even though most people only talk about Bucket.

BTW, I just learnt how to play Robin's solo in D-tune. It's such a unique approach, some very odd choices that somehow end up working. I absolute love his style.

Me 2, just listen to this song, it's awesome.

D tune is very underrated. Awesome Robin's leads there.

Yep, very nice song. Unfortunately, chinese democracy has been over-produced, which makes it hard to hear his guitar work. I would love an album with just Robin on lead guitar + an album with just Buckethead on lead guitar. But hey, we all want "something" in the world of gnr.

I worked with Bon Jovi once at Wembley, it was the concert with Ugly Kid Joe and Van Halen. Leading up to the gig, I remember Eddie Van Halen riding around Wembley on a bike, I think he was exercising. People had to put plastic squares out on the pitch to protect it, they fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle, but they were not allowed to stand on the grass because it was 'sacred'. It was a great experience, and I like Bon Jovi and they always put on a good concert, but JBJ was not a nice person but he was accessible. Iron Maiden concerts, the band never seemed accessible to people working with them, which was weird. Def Leppard were cool, Joe Elliot is a great guy. Oddly, never worked at a GN'R concert despite all the oddities with Merck and that. I have seen them but just as a punter.

    Nice story, thanks for sharing😃
