The Greatest hits album is a joke... 5 covers!? over 14 songs... that's bad...

The best songs on 'Slash' are better than the best songs on Apocalyptic Love, but AL is more consistent, I can listen that album from start to finish without skipping any song. It's a solid album. All songs are good compare to 'Slash', which contains a few songs that I find boring or annoying (not a fan of Promise, By the Sword and Dr Alibi).

If I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong) he said in a few interviews that sales aren't important, but does he really think that?

He has other stuff going on also besides his albums, like signature pedals and amps, so I don't think money is an issue. But if I were a musician I'd like my albums to sell well, but maybe he's satisfied I don't know. He seemed happy with Apocalyptic Love and he'll record another album with the conspirators, if the next album ressemble the previous one I think it's a good indicator that he actually doesn't care about sales, because AL, as you said, wasn't a big sales hit.

Its ok to wear the hat, but not for ever single second he plays live. there isnt a single gig he's played live where he didnt wear the shades and hat since he began his solo thing in 2010.

I am still scathing my head why him wearing the hat bugs you all so much? it has no impact on his playing or performance............

It's not that it bugs me terribly, let's say it's just a minor complaint. It's not dramatic if he keeps the hat and the shades.

No Axl should re-record CD with the old band so it doesn't sound like a fucking mess.

There are not a whole lot of ballads in Slash's catalog... Gravedancer is good, Gotten also.

If Slash made a greatest hits record from his post GNR career, that material could rival a GNR record (real gnr I mean).

I hate it when he does something like this. It was cool when I was a kid but as an adult I find it ridiculous.

I loved UYI 1 instantly. I purchased UYI 2 a few weeks later, I remember I was disapointed on the first listen. I said to myself at least there is Civil War and You Could Be Mine that is good... but with a few listens I appreciated the album more. Today I think it's a really good album but UYI 1 is far better (to me).

Never liked Live Era for that reason. When I bought it I though something was weird with the songs, they didn't sound quite right... When I heard Axl re-recorded the vocals I understood why...

The intro of Better is cringeworthy, can't stand it. See how Axl shines singing rythmic rock songs like Whole Lotta Rosie? That's what I like and that's what Axl is the best for.
