  1. I've ask this before and I never have an answer, I'll ask again.

What has Slash ever said that is so terrible towards Axl?

Please someone answer, give the quotes. I want to read all those terrible things. Go ahead.

  2. I already have It's 5 o'clock somewhere and Ain't life grand, but I was wondering, how come those albums are so rare? It's not like Slash is an unknown guitarist... Is there an explanation for this?

    Thanks.

  3. Damn, I finally broke down and subjected myself to these "performances". My eardrums still haven't forgiven me.

I guess I'll stick with the new band and a singer that couldn't sound that shitty on his worst day.

I was really surprised to see Slash fuck up SCOM though, looks like the drugs weren't the things effecting his performance 20 years ago.

He did an A+ job of making DJ look decent. I don't think that was his intention, but I never thought that would be possible either. :shrugs:

Oh well, like the song says, "I already left you and you're better off left behind".

    Glad it's over.

    where did he mess up?

He messed up twice. There's no way in hell that I'm listening to it again to find the exact times for you, but if you like it, feel free. They're kind of hard not to notice.

    Slash=guitar god

    Sorry, you losecool.gif

  4. Duff and Slash know how to make good decisions. It was only natural to play a few songs at the ceremony. Izzy didn't come, who's the best choice to replace him for that night: Gilby. Axl didn't show up, who was the best choice to sing: Myles.

Good performance by the guys, congratulations!

  5. I personally don't like how they continuously throw Axl under the bus. Each time he kind of says it was like this but so be it. Then they say nothing and take the glory. it would've been a great time to work things out with Axl. Duff could of got the current guys to play and that would have meant Axls attendance. Slash could have apologized and inducted Axl. Then Izzy would have come and we'd have seen a fitting.

Oh please. Axl is acting like a child and the other guys should act like pussies because of him? I've had enough.. I'll leave this part of the forum for the Axl ass lickers once again.

  6. Lisa Reed (Dizzy's wife): ''Just an FYI for those supporting the rrhof and dissing my friend for his honest and forthright decision. This establishment wanted to charge dizzy $3000 per person to attend his induction to their little museum. With the kids and parents and everyone close to him. This would have added up to $21000. Pretty sure He would rather spend that money on more meaningful things.''

    "Little museum"...smiley-sleeper.gif

Yeah like bying you a car I betviolin.gif

  7. No but sincerely, I wish Axl the best but he constantly shoots himself in the foot whatever he does, and the only guy to blame is himself.

blame Axl?? why .. cause he is loyal with us?? cause he is a man with strong convictions?? .. cause he knows exactly what he has to do to get GN'R goals?? ... cause he loves and respect each true fan? .. cause he did what all the fans from ever were waiting ... OK blame AXL .. I'm proud of him

    Are you for real?

  8. I really can't wait until all of this is over and we can go back to normal.

Which is what? Talking about Axl hair? There's nothing to talk about because Axl is doing jack shit.

Ah your forgetting the Chinese Democracy Summer Tour 2012, 10 years and going strong!

    Haha.

I see what you did theremf_chefsp.gif

No but sincerely, I wish Axl the best but he constantly shoots himself in the foot whatever he does, and the only guy to blame is himself.

  9. Sorry, but it will be a Velvet Revolver reunion with another singer.

I can see Axl sueing some asses in the next days. Axl and Izzy are being disrespected.

What the hell are you talking about? Steve on drums, Slash on guitar and Duff on bass, this is Guns n' Roses (a big part anyway), nothing to do with VR, so shut it. You're so bitter that former bandmates and friends will play together tonight.... Just don't watch it and shut your mouth.

  10. I can't understand anything!!!!

So Kapitch_77, if Axl go to the HOF n' don't want to sing, is logical that other person sings? WTF, the logical is the inducted members recibe the induction honor n' (and for Dirtydeeds) have fun together, like other bands did before. If they want to play, ok, play some songs, with Duff singin'.

The real nosense is that a lot of people is bitchin' Axl for not goin', n' now are celebratin' that Myles be in his place tonight.

The sadest thing for me is tonight Slash will get his dreamed Guns N' Roses (without Axl n' doin' everybody what he want/order).

Well, in some time this stupid thing will be past, n' we can see Guns N' Roses tourin' again

What we'll see tonight is the result for Axl not being there. It's just that. If Axl would've showed up I'm sure Myles would not be singning, even if Axl don't want to perform. Don't you think it's obvious?

  11. Axl can't bring Ashba, Ron, Fortus or any other actual member, n' now Slash can bring Gilby n' Myles? WTF is this nosense?

Axl said the true, this is a trap for him, this is only for lucrate, HOF n' Slash, only money. Tryin' again to destroy Guns N' Roses actual line up.

N' I'm a Guns N' Roses fan since 1988. Please haters n' cupcakes, remember what said Scott Weiland when left Velvet Revolver.

    Humanguns

Gilby played in the golden age of Guns n Roses, so no problem there. Axl should sing but as you know he refuses to be there, so... Now if the band wants to play they have the right to do so, they need a voice and the best choice is Myles. It's not nonsense to me..

And Weiland played with VR a few months ago so your argument is invalid.

    ?

    What?

  13. Myles can't sing, wtf! is ridiculous. If Axl bring Ashba for playin' guitar everybody will be disapointe, but if Slash bring Myles there is no problem? Are you crazy? The most identify in GNR songs from appettite era is Axl voice.

If Slash bring Myles then he lose my respect for all of my life, then he will be the attention whore.

I hope Duff sing in this event. He can do it nice

Duff can't sing songs like Sweet Child. Myles is the perfect guy for that so I'm all cool with the idea.

  14. Axl was stuck in a shitty situation. How could he sit there withe old members, and act like everything was great. Steven called his current members hacks etc. I'm sure Axl is pissed at missing the vent too, he has been robbed of a special night, but he could not honestly go to it. Imagine if someone in your life called you a dick, would you then go and sit next to him the week after, i don't think so, you would want to smack him one. It's disappointing i know, but looking at it fairly, how could Axl show up, it would have been a car wreck waiting to happen. Imagine the shit Adler would have come up with after it.

Axl called Slash a cancer, and gess what? Slash still wants to burry the hatchet. Your argument is invalid.

  15. I for one find this divorce analogy ridiculous. They were not a couple, they were a band. Just a band. A bunch of guys playing music.

Well, the relationship part of it is not ridiculous since they were two people who had a close relationship and shared important and defining parts of their lives together and then the relationship went to hell. The "children" part of it is bullshit because no fans are emotionally damaged by not having newer YouTube clips of them together to watch.

They're 50 years old... They can't even see one another for a small ceremony? But Axl is a 50 years old drama queen and always will be.

You said it. A small ceremony. What is the big deal about not attending? I bet there is hundreds of small ceremonies they could attend together but they don't get along. There were hurt feelings there and everybody is entitled of having hurt feelings. It is just a ceremony. An award show. As Duff said, music is not like sports, you don't win or lose. So what is the big deal? The hall is not "the fans". It is just the industry looking for a payday.

There's no big deal. Frankly it doesn't change anything in my life that Axl won't go, but I can find this ridiculous no? Because it is, so is his letter, and the fact that he doesn't want to get inducted.. oh and the fact that he's still playing the old classic too. It's laughable really.
